Exceptional

A very nice boutique hotel with very good and wekcoming staff. The welcome period was nice.

great location near Cedars Sinai hospital appointment. Nearby restaurants plentiful and in many price points. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Parking available for an extra fee. Overall, convenient.

Everything was fine for the stay. I would be nice if they had an area restaurant map to find other potential dining options.

Never again

The room was dirty. The bathroom was old and needing of an overhaul. The shower curtain was strained and the sink had cracks in it, as it was so old. Would not stay again

Jeff at the front desk was awesome!

The exterior lighting was not turned on! When I inquired on the second night I was told the lighting was not working. They know about it but havent fixed it. I told her its dangerous to not have the exterior lighting on. Then I said maybe a breaker was off as well as saying I was going to reach out to the management. Then she went behind the curtain and I went back to our table and low and behold the lights were on. Also, upon arriving around 5:30 the first night there were no lights on around or over the front desk. I looked up and said oh there are lights. She just stared at me! Otherwise everything was great. As a business owner myself I thought you would like to know. It was the same person checking us in as well as the nights the lights were not turned on. 10 /16 & 17 and they were on the 18th.

It was only a place to sleep at night, the facilities need updating.

Location was good, Liked the idea of a beer in the late afternoon, there was no breakfast available at the Elan, it was just a place to sleep at night.

Friendlier staff at the desk, half the time they didnt seem to understand what we were saying. There was a broken curtain adjuster just left above the fridge cabinet, I saw ripped curtains along the edges, I saw cobwebs above the centre light, the centre light was actually crooked. Access up the front stairs was not easy with heavy suitcases.
