Excellent location picturesque views and amazing weather

The location was in the interior parts due to which it was very peaceful, calm . Further because of this we were wished good morning by the chirping birds . The host was very helpful and kind. The food was good and full marks for hospitality.

Amazing place. My stay was to short but I made the most of the fresh air, views and a rest in nature after a busy few days travelling. Family are lovely. Makes you appreciate spices we use. The sounds of nature, waterfalls jus amazing

Back to the nature

Location was nice to hike and explore on your own. Ratheesh's place is in a valley surrounded on all sides by the majestic ghats. The greenery in the valley (even at the peak of summer) was remarkable. There is a water fall nearby which turns into a small stream and a few pools of water in which one can swim. Most importantly, it is Ratheesh's attitude which makes your time spent at his place - always there to help with anything with a smile. He showed us around his plantation (we learned a lot of stuff about spice plants which we didn't know earlier), and also gave us several tips to explore the nearby region on our own.

We went in the summer, so an aircon would have been nice - though it wasn't too hot. I am sure that the place would be a lot cooler most of the year. While the location was great for us, it may not be so for some - especially for those who're after a "view" or are traveling by public transport.
