The Earl's Regency Hotel in Kandy, Sri Lanka, offers spacious and clean rooms with a good view. The breakfast buffet is nice but the dinner buffet could be improved. The hotel staff are friendly and (Read More)provide good service. The hotel has a pool and parking facilities. Overall, it is a decent hotel for a short stay in Kandy.

The buffet food was not great. We stayed at six different hotels in two weeks and it was the worst out of any of the hotels.

Not recommended for those who experience luxurious hotel room facilities.

The booking.com didn't give the exact details when we made the booking. We came to know the booking was " Room Only (Without Buffet ) Once we checked in to the property. Try to give more clear details about the booking while you are mentioning the BIG discounts. Thanks.

Unexpected situations. We were waiting in the reception lobby for more than 1.5 hr and finally came to the room. But still, room clearing is not yet done. So we waited outside the booked room. The buffet was not varied compared to the Amaya Hills Kandy. Not recommended for those who experience luxurious hotel room facilities.

A Pleasant Experience at Earl's Regency Kandy Hotel

One of the standout features of the hotel is its lush bush views from the balcony. The location is indeed fantastic, providing a serene atmosphere that adds to the overall charm of the stay. The hotel staff deserves commendation for their efficiency and warm service, contributing significantly to our positive impression. The culinary experience at Earl's Regency Kandy Hotel was a highlight. The buffet menu offered a variety of delicious dishes, and the overall quality of the food was impressive. However, the repetition of the same breakfast items every morning was a minor letdown, and a bit more variety could enhance the dining experience.

The rooms, while comfortable, had some drawbacks. The dated furniture was a noticeable aspect, and the absence of USB charging ports was inconvenient in this tech-savvy era. Additionally, the mirror lights in our room were falling off, which, though a minor issue, detracted from the otherwise pleasant ambiance. Telephone was not working in my room. Unfortunately, our check-out experience left a sour taste. A receptionist took it upon herself to grab my teeange son's phone and write a 5-star google review without his consent. Such unprofessional behaviour is unacceptable and diminishes the trust and credibility of the hotel's feedback system. Another aspect that requires improvement is the accessibility of the pool. The absence of disabled access is a significant oversight, limiting the inclusivity of the hotel's amenities.

Superb

The junior suite is so nice and quite peaceful i would recommend this hotel as its beauty and you can view a beautiful view from the room. The food is so delicious and friendly staff too, best hospitality, best vacation spent with my wife at Earl Regency!

Theres no dislikes enjoyed relaxed as Im a nature lover the location of the hotel its so nice and peaceful environment!
