Serene green cocoon

Catching the very last days of the monsoon season and this place was a wonderful serene green cocoon to return to after an out-and-about in Hikkaduwa town. Stayed in one cabana with only fan. I felt it kept the bedroom airy and cool during night, and mosquito free. Dreamtime team and owners are all really lovely people. I really enjoyed staying here. Thank you!

We stayed in the garden room that only had a fan and was kind of open at the top. The room was very nice but we underestimated the noice during the night so we would definitely recommend to bring earplugs if you wake up easily to get a nice sleep. The breakfast changed every day but was always nice. It is easy to walk to the beach. Definitely a nice and different experience to stay in this accomondation. The Garden was beautiful :-)

Some of the best interiors we had in Sri lanka with beautiful jungle feel and amazing team and food

- The team did so much for us from start to finish, they organised a transfer from Negombo to location that was on time and good value for money, then an onward TukTuk to our next location. We also did the cooking class and surfing lesson through the team and both were incredible - This was a highlight of our trip, before visiting a few people had said Hikkaduwa wasn't as popular as other areas but we strongly disagree and Dreamtime made it even better, it's a really beautiful and trendy room/bar/pool area we wanted to spend time at - Lovely breakfast, pool area and so close to what you need, plus they help organise transport to other parts

I really loved the staff, the design of the rooms, the territory - feels like youre in a real jungle! Loved the location cause the street with the railway is so authentic - you can see real peoples life there which is amazing. The staff is always helpful. They have a beautiful collaboration with their neighbors who make breakfast every morning and they also have a cooking class so you can go there and learn how to make curry (it was delicious, and this family are extremely nice people). The hotel is located in Narigama beach - one of the best locations in Hikkaduwa I would say. Well, it was perfect. Thank you so much! Love from Moscow

A true hidden jungle gem :) Great breakie!

Lovely local breakfast. Beautiful swimming pool and relaxation area. Fantastic that the place is located in a real jungle! The sounds in the morning are perfect. ATTENTION - pay attention to what type of cottage you are booking. Some of them do not have air conditioning and this can be difficult, to say the least. The weather here was great, so we didn't feel it, but I can't imagine what it would be like at 35 degrees. The owners are very nice and have just opened a new hotel on the beach. We spent one day there soaking up the ocean and it was wonderful. If there is no place at Dreamtime, it is worth considering Amaroo Hotel :)

Jungle oasis

The owner and the stuff are very welcoming and lovely :) the infos for the area and the helping hands for everything was very helpful. Nice room especially the bathroom and the pool and communal area is very pretty and like a little jungle Would recommend to go there :) Ps: moms kitchen cooking class is sooo yummi and fun :)

Little holes in the mosquito net - told the staff and they will fix it so not a big deal :)

The best place for nature lovers, city escapers! Breathtaking surroundings, nature sounds of birds, frogs, insects, rooftop running sguirrels, beautiful blooming plants, salty chilled pool was more than i ever could expect. Staff very friendly and breakfast simple but at the highest quality just perfectly balanced and tasty. I wish i could stay for a couple more days..

A little gem in the jungle

Breathtaking place.. ideal for anyone looking for some peace and quiet to disconnect and recharge. Loved the wildlife and the sounds of frogs while I slept. The staff are amazing - they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Breakfast was superb.. and they were able to offer me a gluten free option. I unfortunately caught the end of the monsoon period so wasn't able to use the pool.

Location wasn't too bad (short walk to the beach) but the nearby streets aren't well lit at night.. not ideal if you're a woman travelling alone. Nothing else - the place itself was beautifully maintained. Couldn't have asked for more!
