Excellent!

The staff esp the supervisor/manager were all very kind & accommodating. They responded with compassion when my daughter had a medical emergency at the hotel and they also called the local ambulance for me. While my daughter was in the hospital they also gave a get well soon fruit basket which I think is such a sweet gesture. They also book taxi/grab for us. The food is really amazing! Will highly recommend Discovery Suites and will be booking with them again.

As a whole, highly recommended.

I like the total ambiance of our accommodation and the hotel arranged the room with wine and some cold cuts for our anniversary.

If the one who is supposed to assist in bringing down the luggage is currently engaged, let the guest know so that he/she would think of other ways, rather than let her/him wait for minutes.

The staff made the place feel like it was a home away from home.

Our family was welcomed by none other than their famous porter Jonrey, who was very contentious and hospitable in every way and every time we encountered him, he would give us location advise and was truly a genuinely friendly person. The maintenance staff was also available straight away when we requested them to fix the roller blinds and curtains. The reception host Dimples was very helpful and was able to give us a late check out as our flight was scheduled late in the evening and she even sent us to the lunge to wait for our ride to the airport. We received complimentary drinks in the lounge and the staff was very hospitable to our guests who was there to say goodbye to us. We really enjoyed our first stay in Manila at Discovery Suites, the kids enjoyed the pool amenities as well. We also used Discovery for our final stay in Manila as it felt like coming home for a short while. Seeing familiar kind faces made it feel very comfortable.

At our first stay we were really impressed at how great the lobby and the foyers smelt, they had a very nice aroma to welcome the guest and it was very nice every time you walked into the hotel and walk around the rooms. The ambiance and smell of the hotel makes a lot of difference in making your stay feel comfortable, familiar and enjoyable. However during our last few days stay, the sweet aroma smell was no longer there. The smells were diffused and different and it seemed the air fresheners were not working and it smelt like as if you were outside of the hotel. The long stay guest laundry would probably need to be a larger size to match the large dryer as the people using this amenities would have larger loads to wash from their travels.
