It was good but could have been better.

Good: I liked this hotel - the location outside of the hustle & bustle of Ubud but close enough to get to where you want to go; large room with nice balcony; quite peaceful with zero traffic noise; huge pool with plenty of pool beds; delicious breakfast; friendly and helpful staff; beautiful gardens;

It has SO much potential here and I really wanted to like it but theres a couple of things I really didnt like. The air conditioner looked to be more mould than air con which was a bit of a worry. There was a gap around the main entry door which let in light from the shared hallway at night plus one of the biggest spiders Ive seen in my life (& coming from Australia, we have some fairly large beasties here). And the romantic mozzie net over the bed was really old and dusty with holes in it - the bed would be MORE romantic without it. Also the bathroom toiletries were a bit random - toothbrushes provided but no soap. Just a little bit of work & TLC and this particular room at Desak Putu Putera Cottages could be amazing.

Was a fabulous spot, now feels like a low end motel.

I am a repeat customer here. This was my 3rd time. The reason I pick it is for location and hidden oasis.

However, this will most likely be the last time I stay at this hotel, it has become very rundown, maintenance has not been kept up and there is excessive wear and damage. The tile in typology are now missing, blackmold in my bathroom roof and the showers. Exterior has rot damage on bottom buildings near the pool. Additionally, the staff seem to laugh off the wear and tear of the place and do minimal maintenance. They only changed my sheets after 3 days and me telling them. They never truly clean and wash the shower and floor. Same bits of garbage or dirt in same spots for 4 days.

Good location for out purposes, at a distance from Main Street, nice swimming pool, polite stuff., pleased with the facilities. Clean and safe .

The breakfast was limited to few options we stayed 7 nights so it became boring after a while. But was well cooked

Beautiful oasis

Nice rooms with balcony overlooking the wonderful green trees, garden area and pool. Beautiful and refreshing pool. We liked the Caf/restaurant and the peace and calm the hotel area brought. Super friendly staff, tasty welcome drink. Very nice stay, would recommend to stay here!

The bathroom was a bit smelly and damp.
