Disappointing

Very Disappointing

The bed was quite comfortable and they have very nice soaps / shampoos etc in the bathroom.

When we arrived to check in for our wedding weekend, the room looked like people had been lying on the bed already, there were napkins on the floor and they had left a rollout bed. Overall the rooms are tired and old, with many things not working. For example the electric curtains were stuck closed. Additionally, despite informing before we checked in that it was our wedding and that my husband and his family would get ready and leave from the hotel, service was terrible and slow. For example their lunch / food ordered never arrived so they ended up going to the wedding hungry. Or whenever we needed to call down to the concierge it was always a long wait until we could finally get someone to assist. It was all just very underwhelming and disappointing for the money we paid at this hotel.

Very good

Very comfortable and well appointed hotel in lovely neighborhood

Location was excellent. Service v good. Wonderful rooftop bar with pool and access to well equipped gym. Room had balcony and were of a good size.

There was a noisy building site next door and I thought a few maintenance details could have been better, like scuffs on doors and skirting boards.

Great location, nice hotel, poor service.

The location is the main feature of this hotel. Its handy to access the Double Bay area and the restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the local area. The Double Bay Breakfast was great in room as well.

Checking in was extremely slow (10 minutes plus to get a key), then when we accessed the room it stunk of cigarette smoke. Asked to be relocated and the next room still had a faint stench of cigarettes. The housekeeping staff didn't clean the new room all that well, still stains from previous guests' drinks on the table and food crumbs on the floor. The hallway had a bandaid and lots of food plates left out which for the time of day (check-in) you would think they would lift the level of appearance. Hand soap refills we're empty, no toilet rolls were provided or topped up, rang for a turndown service and housekeeping never turned up. Just generally a poor experience for $1K per night.

Superb

It is in a rush to search a place for the night immediately after my flight was cancelled

The room is good in size for a family of 3. I enjoy having coffee on the Balcony. Nice view of the port. In room dinning and Breakfast are delicious.

Almost nothing. The construction site in front of the room balconcy ruin the view but it is understandable.

Great location, nice hotel

Fabulous location, we really like the hotel, though there is construction site going on both sides of the hotel, so a little disappointed as we paid extra to have the bay view....but it was obstructed by a huge crane and more of less constant noise, which hasn't been reflected in the price at all

The big constructions sites on both sides of the hotel without any aknoledgement from the hotel, no discount , no warning about it etc. There is a reason why we paid extra for the bay view, not for the huge crane view sadly
