Fabulous relaxing amazing new years weekend stay

The hotel design and beds are so wonderful. I didnt get a chance to swim in the pool but the roof bar and pool looked magnificent. I loved how helpful and friendly the staff were. The man on the front desk helped me with a secure parking issue and room service issue. I really appreciated the excellent facilities, room, customer service and comfortable stay. Will definitely be back!!!

My stay was excellent and Ill be back. However I noticed the floor was dirty under the room couch, needs a vacuum. The room service pizza looked great but unfortunately cold and soggy (I was refunded no issues). Everything else was immaculate!

Wonderful stay without the kids

We stayed in the river view room. Was it worth the extra $? Yes and no. Half the window was blacked out due to the facade and half the view was of the promenade downstairs. We didnt stay in the room much so if youre wanting to save some $ for a few more cocktails the nature room is fine. The bed is super comfortable, staff were very friendly and welcoming and booked my car parking which is directly underneath the hotel and owned separately to the hotel at check in. Parking is $35 per 24hrs and clearance height is 2.23m in case you were wondering. As you can expect from a 5 star hotel (is it a 5 star hotel?), rooms and hotel were super clean and breakfast was good downstairs at Mews. Youve got your pick of restaurants and bars across the road including the rooftop bar at the hotel. Im not sure if its Fiume or Flume as the I could be a lowercase L but thats irrelevant. Would I stay again? Definitely. Without the kids that is.

Pool - I found it odd that to access the pool you have to cross the rooftop bar which is open to the public. Its fine in the mornings and during the weekdays however from sunset if you want a swim, you have to walk through the busy bar and people dressed for a night out, eating tapas to access the pool. You can count how many lounge chairs there are in the cover photo and thats how many can people actually fit in the pool area. Its not a pool for kids to be playing around in thats for shore. Breakfast - There werent any other options for breakfast close by other than the hotel restaurant. (When I mean close by I mean the Wharves although Felons did coffee and sandwiches and Uber Eats doesnt count). The vibe is adults only and that would make sense why the pool is so far away and close to the public bar. But being so close to the wharves which have some very child friendly restaurants makes for a stay worth bringing them if you had to.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff .. great location and art decor just lovely.

Everything was great . I accidentally left some special platter knives in a drawer near the sink. I called straight away reception said they would follow up.. still no response.

Great location in central town, cool vibe with interesting art celebrating Australian icons

Our room felt more dated than retro, nature wall room comes with very little natural light, staff were friendly but too relaxed - a little more edge would help bring out the sophistication this hotel is going for

An oasis in the heart of Brisbane city.

You cannot beat the location with Howard Smith Wharves at your doorstep. I was even served champagne in line as I waited to check in which was a nice touch. The room was so quiet and modern. I definitely felt like I was holiday and left feeling refreshed and cleansed.

Rooms are on the smaller side and the hotel definitely needs a bigger pool/pool area/pool furniture.

A wonderful place to stay for a special occasion

Great location right in all the action of the Howard Smith Wharves and easy access to the New Farm walkway or the city - great for walking or cycling. Beautiful infinity pool with a fantastic view over the river. Lovely rooms, very quiet given the location. We were on the first floor in a Promenade room. Great air conditioning in a heatwave! Cafe downstairs served a tasty breakfast. Thanks

Fantastic hotel, planning our next trip

Great location, good access to transport (taxis outside). Beautiful and stylish hotel, clean and comfortable, great facilities. Staff were fantastic. We had the nature room - which basically means the view outside our window was a cliff face - but we actually really loved it, it was different, interesting and added to the mood of the room. Watching the sunset from the pool while being served drinks was a great way to end our day!
