Wonderful fun stay.

Great location, very walkable city, flew into airport, took bus from airport to ferry to get to island. Walked from ferry to hotel. Hotel has bikes, rode bikes and walked all over.

This is a lovely motel where the staff are friendly, comfortable rooms, and quality restaurant.

I liked the retro feel of the place but modern rooms. It reminded me of the motels of the 50s $ 60s but upgraded. The location was perfect. My room was spacious and housekeeping did excellent service. The beds were comfortable and not overly soft or overly firm. The pillows were my only issue. They werent bad, just that I am use to firmer pillows.

The pillows were too soft. They werent bad, I prefer foam pillows. The toilet and shower were a bit close No radio in the room and I was unable to get HBO on the tv. That I would miss out on the fresh baked cookies sometimes.

Excellent stay.

Very nice place. Well maintained. The shower was up to date and clean (which is important to me but rare in little family-owned hotels, in my experience). The staff was friendly and competent, and the room was spotless. The mattress was finenot amazing, but not worn out (also too common in such places). It took me a while to realize that the heat was a plug in space heater. I've never encountered that in a hotel before. But my criticisms border on quibbles. This was a very nice stay and if I have reason to be in or near Coronado again, for business or personal reasons, I would certainly stay here again.

Don't get the room over the restaurant.

Great location, beautiful building. Have stayed here many times before and very nice stays.

The room I received this time was over the office and bistro downstairs. The restaurant left some exhaust fan on all night and it was very loud/rattling the whole time. Asked to have it turned off and was told it would be but they never did. People in the room next door had their TV turned on super loud really early in the mornings, nothing was done about it. Not a very peaceful and restful stay this time. Have tried to book another stay for this summer but now this location is not on Booking.com anymore.

Excellent Experience

Initial impression was The Inn itself it a quaint Mediterranean style with a courtyard and excellent restaurant attached in a very central location. It is walkable to both bayside and beachside restaurants/shops. If you aren't leaving Coronado you really don't need a car. The Inn itself was comfortable with nice size rooms/amenities. It is not a luxury hotel but if you are ok with basic amenities this fits the bill. The bed was heavenly and the bathroom was renovated in a lovely way with large shower. The staff was EXCELLENT - every one of them a pleasant welcome in the morning with your free coffee bar and a wealth of local information on restaurants and sites on Coronado and the San Diego coastal areas. Housekeeping was always on top of things with a smile! The attached Inn restaurant served us the BEST MEAL we had on the Island and SD area on Christmas Eve. I will be back and thank them all for a excellent experience.

My only negative was I think the rug in my king bed room should be replaced. My kids room however had nice new tile.
