Superb

A beautiful, romantic and very comfortable hotel in Istanbul - highly recommended!

Decore was beautiful and service was impeccable - fast, efficient, very friendly, no request was too small or trivial and excellent follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction. Many luxury hotels could take a lesson from the Cronton!

The restaurant staff need a little english language support.

Good location and nice staff but the rooms are not good.

Great location

There was no sound proofing- you can hear everything outside. Also the plumbing was horrible in the executive suite. The bathroom smelled like something died in there and the shower would leak to the outside.

Perfect for visiting Istanbul

The Croton Design Hotel are a very modern, well equipped and perfectly good location in Istanbul. At 5 min of the Grand Bazar and spices bazar. 10 min of Topkapi palace, saint Sofia and other wonderful mosque. The restaurant at the top of the hotel is very good and proposes a beautiful view of Istanbul. All the team are very nice and professional. Special mention for the Guest Relation Manager, Valeria find all what you need. Dont hesitate to ask her advisors , special booking.

Perfect location, lovely hotel and amazing staff

The hotel is built in a modern style with all the lovely details. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The location is amazing (15-20 min walk from the historic centre). The staff is simply incredible, Valeria the manager and her team were ever so friendly, helpful, kind and they all made us feel welcome. We cannot be grateful enough that they made our stay very special. Thank you! The hotel is highly recommended!

Comfortable, delightful, and heartwarming experience.

Beautiful design of the building - both exterior and interior. Perfect location that its really easy to walk to Blue Mosque, Hogia Sofia etc, and easy transportation to the rest. Everything is amazing yet what impressed us the most were the people there - SO friendly and helpful!! Valeria made us feel home, she cared a lot and so did the rest of the hotel staff team. Really appreciate that. I also want to give a big shout out to the people working at the restaurant. We had breakfast there for 2 consecutive mornings and they just brought so much joy to our days. Many thanks to Mazlum - he was there every day from the early morning. He has such a genuine and kindhearted personality that we appreciated a lot. Theres also a really nice lady there who helped us - we forgot about her name unfortunately. We cant wait to come back and really wish we could see them again the next time we come to visit. Because of all the nice people, Cronton Design Hotel will be our only choice to stay whenever we come to Istanbul. Highly highly recommended.

Building is nice from the outside, which is the best thing about the hotel. Interior and rooms are also nicely furnished.

Cleanness is below any standards (every second towel we got was dirty), staff is not very professional, definitely not what you would expect for 5 star hotel. Restaurant is a disaster. Our experience got even worse when we got moved to a different room for a no good reason for the last night (supposedly there was a repair needed in our room). We got smaller room, not cleaned properly, with leaking toilet and clogged washbasin. When checking out the staff wanted to charge us for someones else orders.

Amazing stay, wonderful staff and beautiful area

I was so amazed at the hospitality of the staff from before I had even arrived. One of the staff came to pick us up as taxis werent allowed on the historic area at the time of our arrival. They upgraded our room for free and helped us charge our phones after a long travel day.

Nice place, definitely not 5 star experience

The property is in a central location and has some nice features. We chose it because it seemed to have historic features but those were mostly modern retro-touches.

As above, felt like it was trying to be old. It is FAR from a 5-star experience. Staff were nice and some really tried to be helpful. But we had a negative experience checking out, when we had ordered a cab the night before via the front desk, at a premium, in order to be sure about leaving on time for a flight. When the time came, we asked where our car is. One of the staff said the driver was 5-6 minutes away. They seemed to be trying to arrange for a less expensive (smaller) car. When my husband insisted, restating our need for a car now, at the time we pre-arranged the night, all of a sudden, the staff said, here is your driver, standing there by the desk.
