Enchanting and perfectly managed hotel with a magnificent selection of music - and a location in the world heritage city

We love this hotel, though we usually only use it for short stays, we stop off in Tenerife on our journey from Vienna to El Hierro. Its location in the World Heritage city centre of San Cristobal is formidable. The pedestrian zone is very lively (and on 14 December, it was lavishly illuminated for Christmas). The staff are friendly and competent, small problems (broken safe) are resolved as quickly as possible. We always discover small innovations (or delicacies that we had previously not have seen) at the excellent breakfast buffet. An excellent playlist from the singer-songwriter genre and a very good, brilliantly adjusted sound system help to get the day off to a great start and make breakfast twice as good. The music and its sound are the best of all the places we know! What a relief for our long-suffering ears, which are bombarded with so-called "Christmas music" from everywhere these days. We would choose this fine hotel again and again simply because of the musical atmosphere in the restaurant. But, as we said, it can do much, much more!

Excellent location near the old town, and vey walkable. Across the street from the public parking lot. Historic hotel with modern facilities, generous breakfast and excellent dinner restaurant
