Good

The location was good, with enough areas nearby for dinner. Walked to the RSL and had one of the most amazing dinners ever. We also had breakfast included, which was basic, but nice - the bacon and egg sausage rolls were yummy. The bed was comfy and the room very clean (is a little dated) and the shower pressure is on point. It was also nice having a ceiling fan with the air con during the heat wave.

No smoking in the property at all. This was not mentioned in the booking - I wouldn't have booked if I knew. There was a heat wave when we were there, and it was really hot and a pain to walk out the front near the road to have a smoke.

Superb

Cute and friendly little property I'd stay at again

Cute and friendly little hotel. It's not the Ritz and doesn't have a ton of glamour - but it's not trying to be, and doesn't need to be. It's a great location - far enough from the promenade etc that you're not stuck listening to dreadful music all night, but close enough to walk for dinner in just a couple of blocks. Staff were friendly and helpful. I've stayed in MUCH more expensive hotels that weren't nearly as good.

Better for shorter stays

Location was great, the property is really nice.

The shower makes the entire room wet and slick (quite dangerous), and there's some mold in the bathroom which gave me an unbelievably sore throat during our stay. Housekeeping wasn't that great, we kept having issues with getting the correct amount of towels.

The hotel was decent for an overnight stay. The staff worked hard to make the stay comfortable.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The staff was helpful.

The coach roach in my room. It was also pretty far from food and entertainment. Had to walk several blocks to get anywhere.

Location and price, value for money

Breakfast was a little stingy. Arriving 45 mins before the kitchen closed qe were advised no more food would be cooked and the what ever was there was all thst was available. Every continental breakfast I have had in the past service finishes at the end of breakfast not before hand. Very strange.
