Fabulous hotel in historical building

The historical building its in, the interior design, spaciousnesses of bedroom and bathroom, quality of bed and bathroom linen, service.

It was a shame the pool was not outdoors, but it is a historical building and there must have been planning restriction. The only fault I can possibly find is that there was food smell from the restaurant in the corridor where my room was at dinner time, but this was not in the room.

Disappointing

My previous stay at this hotel's Bali location set high expectations due to their excellent service. Unfortunately, my recent experience in Perth fell short of these standards. Firstly, the welcome card provided was difficult to decipher due to poor handwriting. Additionally, the fruit selection in my room was disappointing, with several pieces being overripe or even rotten. The room cleanliness also left much to be desired, as I found stains on the pillows. As for the dining experience, it was notably subpar. The breakfast options, particularly the pancakes and omelette, were overly sweet and excessively greasy. Furthermore, cleanliness in the kitchen area was a concern, with dirty cups being a persistent issue despite requesting replacements. The highlight of my stay, however, was the Spa. It maintained its excellent standards with top-notch service, a welcoming environment, and quality supplies.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful enormous comfortable room with many lovely touches and a fantastic lap pool. Breakfast was excellent with healthy options. Staff very helpful.

It's obviously very expensive so it's a special occasion place. The valet parking also very expensive.

Perfection.

Simply the best hotel in Perth. My wife and I stayed at the Como for two nights including the night of our wedding. The staff were amazing. The service was sensational and the facilities are worth the cost. If you want the best then the Como is the place to stay.

- Rooms are beautiful - Spa is exceptional - Bathroom is luxurious and shower products are lovely - Welcome message and treat is a nice touch

Have stayed at the Como previously and could not fault the experience, however on this occasion was a little disappointed for the price point of ~$1,000 per night: - Parking was excluded (+$60 on top of accommodation, when previously this was included); - Hotel staff could not accommodate dinner reservations outside the usual booking system- despite the restaurant looking relatively vacant at our requested timeslot; - Unavailability of certain dishes at restaurants within the building; - In-room movies removed; - We had to prompt breakfast inclusions on multiple occasions; - Our 'city view' room did not have a city view- it looked at a wall; - Service delivery was slow /staff were less obliging than usual; - The bedside tables strangely don't have powerpoints for phone chargers? *One side has a USB port- although our chargers were not compatible.
