The facility is unique. It used to be a monastery. It was a great experience for us to stay at this beautiful facility. There is a terrace just by a canal. The location of it is relatively quiet and close to main attractions in 15-18 minutes foot distance. Also it was very clean. The cleaning lady showed up every day during our stay there. Moreover, the staff were quite helpful and friendly. Even they gave us pretty cool tips for NYE.

The beds we slept in were a little uncomfortable. However, at this price range you cannot find anything better in Venice, I believe so.

Old monastery, new fittings - great stay, breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The building is great, room was spacious and the communal areas are gorgeous!

The breakfast wasn't very good - need more options and better quality of the options that are there.

A unique stay in Venice.

This hotel is a unique experience in a very convenient location. It was very easy to find from the vaporetto and also on foot. It's a beautiful facility. The staff member who helped us print our documents at 5.30am was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying in such an interesting facility.

The one pillow per bed was very flat and a little uncomfortable. The light in the toilet is operated by sensor, yet all the other lights are by switches. I am 152cm tall and the light would not come on - no amount of arm waving or jumping up and down would trigger the sensor. The breakfast was quite nice; however, come early as not everything was replenished later in the morning - including bowls. The staff were very stressed at breakfast.
