The hotel rooms are located on the upper floor and it is really HOT up there. In the rooms, they have a note stating not to turn the thermostat lower than 70 degrees or it would "freeze up". And that was way too warm for us! We keep our home temp in the lower to mid 60s, so we found it very difficult to sleep. The hotel is also "dog friendly", and we found that the 2 spare blankets in our room were absolutely covered in white dog hair! One blanket also had questionable brown stains on it. We didn't have a dog, and don't have dogs, so I found it pretty disappointing that, when renting one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel, the 2 spare blankets available (which would have been great to use while sitting on the outside balcony in the evening) were dirty and covered in dog hair. Why were they not washed for new guests between visits? It made me question how truly clean the rest of the room was... The bed itself was also not very comfortable, and our room was located directly across the hall from the hotel's supply/laundry area, so there was a lot of constant noise outside of our room and we did not sleep very well.
