Really comfortable, in a great area, so much better than our similarly priced hotel in a different area.

Slightly dated decor, but this was not an issue!

Great location and helpful staff.

Lovely large room and comfortable bed. Excellent and safe location in San Francisco. Underground parking was perfect.

Bathrooms need some repair work and TLC We had some cleanliness/Facility issues in the first rooms bathroom but after bringing it to the attention of the staff, they were able to give us the exact same room on a different floor and we did not experience the same issue.

What a pleasant surprise. This place looks like it could be a shabby motel from the street but turns out to be way better for a bargain price. The rooms are much larger than you would get at a more "classy" place near Union Square. The location is great too for good bus line access to different parts of the city.

Fair value, no frills, clean and simple.

All was fine and reasonably priced. The reception staff were efficient and friendly.

Due to the location above the street, the room was a bit noisy but that was expected.

A great location for access to everything you need for a stay in San Francisco

Its biggest selling point is the location (which is also its biggest drawback-see below). The hop on hop off bus stopped at the door and we bought the tickets at reception at a discount. The helpful woman on reception also pointed us in the direction of the city buses, saving us over $100 in Uber fares to go to a concert at the Chase Center, and also bus to Fishermans Wharf. Both stopped at the door. There are loads of really good quality places to eat nearby and a great little convenience store almost next door. We felt safe walking to them. A lovely clean laundromat over in Pierce Street was a short walk. The room was fine for the price. Not keen on the lumpy pillows but it must be some peoples preference as two hotels later we are finding them!

The location is incredibly noisy. The traffic on Lombard street is constant. Friday night we got back late ourselves but you would not have been able to sleep with the crowds at the surrounding bars. However, good ear plugs and you will be fine. The lack of a fridge in the room was a shame. I believe you can hire one, but it wouldnt hurt to fit out all the rooms. The rooms are tired, but the sharp price kind of compensates. One last thing that I hope they might consider is some better security even just on weekends. There was a deranged guy hanging around the doors trying to get inside on Friday night.He was very scary and seemed determined to gain access, going away and coming back several times. We had to wait on the street until he wandered off and make a run for it to get inside. It was really frightening as we knew he would have tried to come in when we swiped our card.
