Very good

It was comfortable stay

I stayed in a very large room with a tv and tap. Which was nice because we could brush out teeth there at night. The bed was comfortable and clean and every day there was someone to clean and change the towels if you wanted them to be changed. And the location was nice the tube closes quite early there though. But it is a nice location with many places to eat as well. All and all I enjoyed my stay.

The bathroom was clean and pretty. Only the water kept either going really cold or really hot and the first night we all showered with cold water. Could be because we foreign and dont know how it works.

Disappointing

Functional space but bathroom was tiny

Location was ok for public transport and lady on reception was pleasant.

Only cleaned room once in 3 night stay When did clean it left our room open

Nice quiet room. Very friendly, helpfull staff. The undergroundstation of the Jubilee line is a 5 minutes walk away.

If the underground is closed ( on Xmas day) there is not much to do ( to walk) in the neighbourhood.

A nice place to stay when you're visiting London

Charlotte Guest House is not a hotel in the traditional meaning, it is a collection of recently (and nicely) remodeled rooms in multiple Edwardian houses. Though some rooms apparently lack their own bathrooms so their occupants need to use a shared bathroom, the room we booked had a private bathroom. (For what it's worth, we checked out the shared bathroom - it was just as nicely remodeled and squeaky clean). Our triple occupancy room turned out to be, in fact, two adjoined rooms, so it was technically a suite. The check-in was super pleasant, the management was even able to accommodate our early check-in request free of extra charge and gave us a useful recommendation on getting breakfast in the nearby cafe. To check-out, you just need to leave the room key in your room somewhere visible and shut the door. Overall, our experience exceeded our expectation: we never stayed in guest houses like this one and did not know what to expect, but all surprises we got were pleasant ones!

Nothing to dislike! The location is close to a Tube station (5 or 6 stops away from the "touristy" areas) and a whole lot of eateries and local shops, the place was nicely updated and had a feeling of staying at your friend's in-law unit.

Nice staff, but grotty room and I felt very unsafe, I don't recommend if on your own.

The receptionist was nice.

This was the most disappointing accommodation I had while recently staying in UK for November. It was grotty and felt very unsafe. I left and booked other lodgings.

I liked the area and the nice victorian house, very cosy. Good toilet.

I didn't like the fact that comunication is made through apps, I am not a technological person. And that they don~t take cash but I think that's the way things are now.

A gem in a big city

The location to trains, cafes, pubs were very convenient. The room was clean and noise free.

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay! Everything is close by: good restaurants, coffee bars, public transport, ATM, supermarkets etc. The room is small, but good. Great shower and nice beds. Also very clean place and helpfull staff. The main attractions in the city are approximately half an hour away by public transport. Quiet neighbourhood at night, so that you can sleep very well. I really recommend it and I would stay here again if I come back to London!

The only thing I missed is a small coffee machine in the room. There is only Nescafe coffee and a water boiler.
