Perfect christmas retreat!

Chapa Farmstay was an awesome experience! We came to see an authentic northern vietnamise lifestyle and the mountain views and that's what we got and much more! The family is super friendly, helpful and kind. We felt very welcome from the very beginning. Bungalows are so cozy and cool (and clean). Bed was really good to sleep. Best were the views! It was very cold when we arrived and we were a bit worried because the bungalow was really chilly. But they gave us immediately an extra blanket and a heater so we did not have to worry about the weather and the bungalow was quickly warm and cozy for us to stay <3 And we always got the hot water on the shower. They arranged us a guided hiking tour. It was a bit expensive but they give 35% from the credit for the local kids education, so we happily paid for that. And the experience was great! The host also gave us a tip for a beautiful two-hour hike route nearby which we could do on our own, and it was awesome to see local life and rice paddies. AND THE MOUNTAIN VIEWS!! They have their own restaurant and they can take care of your laundry. So there's pretty much everything you'll need! There's also a fridge were you can buy some beverages. Foods and especially dinners were so delicious! They arranged us a transportation from Sapa Town when we came and ride back when we left. Chapa Farmstay is not just an accommodation, it's an experience. We totally recommend!

The location is quite isolated, so you have to take a taxi if you want to visit for example Sapa Town. But we did not want to :D There's also no shops or marts nearby, so it's not so simple to get some snacks or something. But you can buy beverages from the Farmstay: water bottles (0,5$), beer (1,5-2$) or soft drinks (1$). There's also not many restaurants nearby, but we recommend to eat on the Farmstay. Prices are bit high, but it's worth it! We were happy to support the family and the community.

The perfect place outside Sapa to enjoy nature

The perfect location to relax and enjoy the view! Nothing to complain about, however I think its a bit overpriced for the current facilities. We stayed two nights and had both breakfast and dinner. Both were typical as in other homestays (good but simple). Breakfast was from a menu (eg either pho, egg toast or pancake with banana) and dinner was 8$ p.p. for the menu of the day. They organised an amazing day trekking for us with a local guide and it was really worth it! They also provided to us the WhatsApp contact from a local taxi who was always on time and driving carefully!

If you are looking something away from the crowd and the tourists, this is your place! But our opinion was that they charge still a bit too much for the facilities. Even though we could see the effort and all the work in the little houses and in the garden. Wooden classical cozy homestay with a very basic bathroom and no Wi-Fi in the rooms (only in the common place). Maybe in the summer it will be even more enjoyable.

Hidden paradise on earth! Totally recommend it!

I cant say enough about how beautiful is this place. Its like a hidden paradise on earth. The owners are super friendly and they make you feel directly part of the family. We had the bungalow and it was simply breathtaking. The view was 10/10, you are in the middle of nature and it is so peacefully. We opted also for the lunch/dinner option and the food was simply amazing! I cannot recommend enough this place. I will definetely come back!

Amazing location in the mountains outside of Sapa. You have an amazing view from your balcony into the valley and rice field terraces. The family running the farm is super friendly and helpful, cooks delicious meals and it was quite a nice experience to stay with the local family, while having comfortable privacy in the well designed bungalows. We loved staying there!

Unfortunately we did not have wifi during our stay, but also a chance to disconnect. Just something good to be aware of in case you want to book your further trip or so.

Magical and peaceful place!

We really loved this place and specially all the staff. I would describe it as a magical and peaceful place. The cabins are really beautiful and the window in the cabin looks like a frame, like a painting on the wall. Quiet place, beautiful view, nice, friendly and attentive staff, by the way thanks to Lili and everyone!!. Really nice breakfast and its in a great location for hiking!! We did one of the tours they offer and we loved it and our guide Chau!!

I loved everything, i have nothing to complain about.

Wonderful Place to Relax and to Hike

The retreat is perfectly located for hiking and for visiting the Hmong villages. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. Nice and comfortable rooms with amazing views. Right next to hiking trails.
