Poor value for money

The hotel was close to food courts and some shopping malls

The property is located on the Mai. Road and if you are unfortunate like me to get a room facing the karaoke bar, you can kiss your sleep goodbye. We booked for 4 nights but decided to cut short by 1 night after making complaints to the property and booking.com. We were lucky to get this approved. We since checked into a better hotel in the city. For $146 per night, its poor value for money

Ok just for a sleep ..would not want to spend time here ..reception is nice

Price was affordable and there was a great Indian breakfast spot located on the corner.

The room was old and battered.lots of holes in the wall, the bathroom was outdated and everything falling apart. The bathroom fan had years of dust inside it which fell out one day in my hair when I was showering. Air con unit filled with years of black mould. The cleaners did a great job and the bedding and room was clean and tidy but the room itself was old and musty.needs a good paint, walls fixing and air cons need a good clean. The cleaner was very friendly and staff on the desk were miserable.

Room had no windows, airco too loud

Location + very good restaurant practically next to it (belonging the hotel, I believe). The entrance hall was also beautifully decorated. A charismatic bar accross the street. Leads of shops, karaoke bars and street life nearby. Good shower.

The room didn't have windows (which can be an advantage - if noise outside) - yet the airco was so loud that I could only sleep with earplugs. The quality of the air in the room was very poor. There were ants in the room.

Will stay again, outstanding value for money.

Large rooms, proper fridge, quiet yet powerful AC, modern bathroom, close to lots of shops and restaurants. Close to bus stop.

Booked 2 rooms, one didn't have NETFLIX. Pillows were quite thick and hard. Only real complaint.

Good

Short stay to explore Singapore at the end of a month long holiday

Finished a cruise and wanted to stay an extra night in Singapore. Had stay here before and liked to location. Wanted to explore up to Seletar and Changi Village so being close to trains and buses was essential. Paya Lebar station was better with luggage than Eunos. Staff got us a taxi early in the morning to get to Changi airport when we left. Good choice of local food outlets for dinner nearby. Big, modern shopping centre down towards East Coast parkway and some lovely restored buildings to see.

Bed and pillows were a bit hard and the bed was quite low, Nothing overly bad.
