Nothing to compare.

There could not have been a better place for me to spend my birthday. Chami and his staff really gave it all to make me feel celebrated and seen on this day. I really enjoyed staying there with my friends in the little tree house cabana. Would do it again and again. Thank you Chami for all the love, the amazing breakfast, good view and lots of fun. We love you!

We spend our first few nights in Sri Lanka here. It was the perfect place to start our trip and had everything we needed. The dinner was great, the people working there were amazing. We really loved the natural and relaxed vibe we got there. Even tough it was super near to the main street it felt like we were in the middle of the jungle.

Because the place is very natural, it is erry important not to keep food in the room. We had some small but cute visitors who were sometimes a bit noisy. But it was still an amazing stay.

Sri Lanka's coolest budget accommodation?

This must be Sri Lanka's coolest budget accommodation? Decades ago the beaches were full of these kinds of places, now there is sadly just a concrete jungle there. Chami's is set back from the beach up a nice jungly lane, and it is very 'jungly'. A lot of effort and creativity has been put into creating this place. There is a restaurant as well. I had a 'studio' room, which was a hut on stilts with my own balcony as well. Plenty of charging outlets, even one on the balcony. The room was comfortable and airy. Private toilet and wash basin, charged shower, an outdoor one, very refreshing. Very friendly staff.

First 10/10 hostel in Sri Lanka!

The place has clearly just been redecorated which is great, unlike alot of hostels in this country, everything was super fresh and clean! The staff were on point and did not mind me checking in early. Chami is a really nice guy and gave me excellent recommendations on where to go and what to see. The bed was big, had a full size mosquito net, 4 pillows and two towels for me to use! I don't usually leave reviews, but this place was so good that it absolutely deserves one! 10/10
