Great location and the beach is fantastic! Nice large pool area with swim up bar

Hotel is very dated and needs refreshing, looking quite tired in places. Outside the hotel you are harassed constantly by taxi drivers at the front and we had several bad experiences. Bentota town is very busy and people follow you around. The beach side is much nicer and quieter

This is our second time staying here. We wish the area had more options for dining and shopping bc once you are there yo

We like the family room on the ground floor and the size of the pool.

Some things to improve - service at breakfast could include waiters walking around with water to refill glasses and black coffee. Line for coffee is ridiculous and especially for people who just want a regular cup.

Staff was very nice.

They are very careless about hygiene. At breakfast, the hotel's chef touches the vegetables put in the omelette with his dirty hands. And with the same hand he touched the egg. Also, my daughter was poisoned by what she ate and vomited a lot. One evening we went to a fish restaurant and there was no fish. The beach is not inside the hotel. There are vagrant people using heroin on the beach, it's scary. The materials they use in the room are broken and not well maintained.

Lovely property with a stunning beach!

Location was amazing, right next to one of the cleanest beaches I have ever been to! Breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the freshly made Hoppers! Staff was very friendly. Nice big rooms, very spacious and comfy! Pool bar was excellent

We booked an ocean view room, but the view was blocked by trees. Still nice but should not be advertised as an ocean view. Could have better after dinner activities

Disappointing

Disappointing and not where we wanted to end our lovely holiday!!

The pool area, other than that the hotel was not worth what we paid for it. Very dissatisfied and wouldnt recommend this hotel.

We paid 200 a night to stay here and the room was awful. We had to complain as it smelt like cigarette smoke and wasnt the room we paid all that money for. Very basic and needs a revamp. The room we got moved into was ok, nothing to shout about and was definitely not worth what we paid!!! The food was very average, we had a drunk, topless man walking around the restaurant while we tried to eat which was unacceptable!! Unfortunately this hotel really ruined the end of our holiday and we would not come back or recommend it.

Very good

Relaxing Stay

We had a great stay here, the beach was easy to access. The pool facilities also easy to access. All facilities were clean and neat. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. On arrival the most beautiful lamp lighting ceremony was held with the reception staff, we all felt very special. The arrival on the jetty, you transported on a boat to the hotel reception. This also adds to the excitement of the stay! The rooms were very comfortable, The breakfast selections were vast! Really good overall.

Certain parts of the hotel is a bit dated. I am sure this is common, maybe a revamp of certain areas should be considered.

Exceptional

Between the beach and lake. Lots of opportunities to do water sports or just laze by the pool. Good choice of food, Asian restaurant also excellent and not expensive.
