Very cosy place, close to the nature with friendly staff and amazing food.

Amazing accommodation, a family business, they are all very friendly and helpful. Beautiful bungalows, very close to the sea. Possibility of renting a kayak and exploring the coast. Very quiet and relaxing. Amazing, home-made food.

The place is very remote, difficult to get there. No shops or restaurants around. You have to take a taxi to travel anywhere. The water was not good for swimming during the autumn/winter time.

Choose this hotel based upon the Bookings.com & Google reviews. Really disappointed! Over priced and not very nice. Much of the time seems to be run by a bunch of kids (I do mean children not young adults). Room not cleaned once. Bar/restaurant over priced for the quality. Poor, poor, poor! Far, far better places available for a comparable price.

Beautiful family run resort.

Gorgeous family run resort on the quiet side of the island.Beautiful coastal and mountainous surrounds.Wonderfully clean grounds and quite picturesque.I had a front cabin with the shoreline lapping below my deck.Family were so friendly and welcoming.

Stairs up to the cabin were a little bit hairy if you were carrying a lot or in the dark, only had a balustrade on one side and were narrow. But that's just very minor.

The host was awesome and supportive. They believe in customer satisfaction. Nice location on the sea shore with a good pool and comfy room. Rooms have basic amenities and renting & tour options are supported by the host.

The resort is on the remote side so if you are coming at night, the last 3-4km would be pitch dark (no streetlight) without any humans so it might scare you.

Beautiful and cozy!

We had the most excellent time at Cay Sao! The family working there are the kindest, they cook deliciously and can advice you about what to do around the island. The resort is beautiful, the bungalows are little bit extremely cozy, all of hem with sea view. Cay Sao also has a great swimming pool, you can rent scooters from them, and its in a great location to ride and go exploring both the busier north east and west of the island. We rented the scooted for three days and rode the entire island!!

Beautiful rooms, positioned with its own beach, great facilities from pool table, hammocks and pool. Great that they serve food and booked a driver for us to our day tour.

Was bitten by bugs but expected when staying close to the water

Brilliant!

Our journey in Vietnam started with a week at Cay Sao Beach resort, which was absolutely great!! The cabins are perfectly build, nice and clean! We stayed in one of the two cabins closest to the sea, which offered us a nice private space on the balcony, which we really valued. The resort is small size and cosy, perfectly maintained and looks great with the tropical nature and the sea. But the most amazing parts were the people and the food! Many thanks to Nyny and her whole family for the great help with basically everything! The food was absolutely amazing, and that good that we had dinner here almost every day! We could easily do our laundry and rent a motorbike to explore the island. We could ask Nyny to book trips for us, and they were offering their own transfer services. Absolutely recommended to stay here a while and relax!! All the best, Rick & Suzanne

The property is beautiful with good facilities (you can use the kayak for free), bungallows have an amazing view and they are clean, comfortable. Foods are freshly made and delicious. Staff is really nice and one of them can speak english.

The motorbike we rented there was not working properly and it broke down and had no light. Staff did their best to help us though.
