I loved the hotel and staff. Locations wasnt the best hut would recommend to friends to stay here

The property is beautiful. Everyone was so nice too. Jesus was so helpful and kind!

The location is not really ideal. Its near the zocalo which is cool but its not near the big things you go to Mexico City to see.

Very nice place, but the service is too weak - wouldnt come back.

Position is very central and practical The structure is build with local material and is very beautiful, different from the typical anonymous US big Hotels.

The service: waiting at the arrival, no communication with guests (they had to repair the water pipes and they didnt communicate it). At the entrance there is only the guard who is very nice, otherwise the reception is always empty (they literally hide all behind in the offices). The only other person being useful and nice was Jesus, who organised our guide and this was very good. We had to ask two times for toilet paper and for additional water (that we would have paid), but it was always a drama (one time one girl told me it is difficult to get the water, because I have to ask the house keeping). Beside this the taxis or Uber do not arrive in front of the hotel.

I liked the concierge as that was helpful. They also kept your luggage in the event of early arrival to the property. The location was good however the traffic was terrible which made commuting to and from the property time consuming.

Its very noisy and its difficult to get good rest.

Decent hotel, but it comes at a high price.

Good location right in the centre of town and a few minutes walk from the Zocalo. The hotel lobby and common areas are beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. The included breakfast was really good, lots of choice and very filling.

This is an expensive 5 star hotel. I booked a double room and had a friend who was going to stay for part of the booking. As I booked a double room in my view, this shouldn't be an issue as the capacity of the room is 2 people, and I've never had any issues in other hotels. Booking.com does not list any restrictions on this for this hotel. On arrival, the staff told me the other person just needed to bring ID. But then when they arrived, the staff told me there was an extra charge of 500 pesos per night for someone else to stay in the room. Considering how much I paid for the hotel, this was pretty ridiculous and wasn't mentioned at check-in. I would love to know what the extra 500 pesos is for as the room was set up for 2 people. I also complained about the TV not working close to the end of my stay, and no one ever came to fix this. The room was clean, but I wouldn't say it was deep cleaned. I found a used contact lense by the side of the toilet in the bathroom. I paid to upgrade to a city view room with a balcony, which wasn't really worth the extra money. Overall I'd say it's a nice hotel but there are other hotels which are probably better value for money.

Beautiful colonial building that has been restored to a modern hotel.

The neighboring buildings (restaurants and parking) are loud until late at night and very early in the morning.

The switches in the room could be better located and tea in the room would be a great added value.

The location and setting is fantastic. The staff are excellent and the hotel is well furnished and it has a good vibe.

Firstly, the room I was in (111) had no window which was not the end of the world. Worse than that, the hotel is next to a multi story car park which has a lift immediately adjoining the hotel. The noise of the lift was sometimes quite unbearable through the day. It was quiet at night so didnt affect sleep
