Very spacious probably one most spacious hotel rooms I've ever had. Very good price per night. Clean. Good location. Warm. Although I've put below improvements overall as price was cheap for what paying it's very good for price.

I only put this to help hotel/owner. Shower pressure extremely poor probably one of worst I've ever had In a hotel please see picture on full power (I have video but won't allow upload). Receptionist seemed bit confused at times and bit expressionless, apologies if he has a related medical condition but would recommend bit more friendly and improve communication skills. No breakfast facility.

Location and size of the rooms was brilliant and perfect for my needs for one night.

Lack of any dining or bar facilities is the only reason I wouldn't stay here again. If you want a room only deal then it's brilliant.......for me it wasn't. Also, the fire alarm went off at 0545ish which was far from ideal. The fact they want to charge you extra for delayed check in past 10pm isn't a good idea as I can't always get to accommodation before 10pm although on this occasion. Staff are on hand when you arrive and thereafter are distant and I didn't see anyone at check out.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Clean and very spacious rooms with nice views. Beautiful grounds and building.

Lower rooms are vulnerable to disturbance if (loud) guests arrive late.

Very good

Great location for travelling around central and southern Scotland. Easy access to motorways and despite no breakfast option there is a Premier Inn/Beefeater resturaunt and a large supermarket nearby. Rooms are large, clean and warm with good quality en suite.
