The listing is exposing facilities that is not available for this unit. These missing issues were crucial when we chose our place to stay (a pool with a connecting lounge that had roofing). The text does not make it clear that appr 10 of the photos belong to another villa. The hairdryer did not have any speed and didnt do the job. The WiFi connection was irregular. The road was narrow and dangerous situations occurred when cars came in the opposite direction - when it was raining heavily in the dark. Communication could have been much better ahead of arrival. The hosts should have given detailed description of how to find the villa, since Google map gives a different direction. A local lady helped us out by calling our host and found out where we should turn off the main road and what signs to look for

Back in cold Germany, we think about our stay in Bois Joli every second - and already miss it.

We had a relaxing, wonderful week in the middle of the wonderful jungle around Bois Joli in our luxurious "tree house" (our nickname). The chalet is new and you can see that in the well-thought-out furnishings and the many lovely details. The view is a dream, the pool area (with integrated granite rock) is unique. Judith and Richard are so friendly and warm-hearted and always up for a chat. We will definitely come back and can hardly wait until then. Note: you definitely have to go to the nearby Takamaka Rum Distillery for a barbecue on Fridays - fun, tasty drinks and delicious food

Welcoming but update on listing needed.

Judith and Richard were very welcoming, informative of local area. And very helpful and attentive. The accommodation was clean and bed comfortable. Property at the top of a very steep hill definitely need a car!

There are 2 villas at Bois Joli, as it was our honeymoon we booked the superior villa via booking.com thinking given the name it would be the newer bigger villa with the larger private pool and sea view as the images show on the advertisement. Judith informed us when we arrived that we had actually booked their other villa which is lovely however no sea view surround by trees so not much natural light and much smaller pool was a short walk away from villa and overlooked by the owners property. There was also no bbq as listed. When we asked about this Judith mentioned that the advertising needs updating as the superior villa is in fact their older property. There were guests booked into the newer villa a couple of days after our arrival so no option to change however Judith allowed us to use the bigger pool until their arrival. Our stay was lovely and host very welcoming however was not quite the property we were expecting, would advise to future guests to clarify which villa they have booked.

Amazing tropical villa at great price

Simply amazing. The place is located in the middle of a tropical forest(only 6 minutes far by car from the main island road), but you also have a beautiful ocean view from de pool. Judith and Richard had built this cozy wooden villa in their property, near to their house but surrounded by palms so we were the only guests there. Isnt that luxury? They are building another one, but far enough to keep privacy, and each one has it own pool and sun bed area that we really enjoyed. Everything is well equipped: kitchen, bathroom, bedroombut the best is the amazing level of cleanliness: Spotless. Honestly the owners are doing a great job, always caring and helping, so I really wish them just the best.

Gorgeous hidden tropical paradise

The place was absolutely beyond our expectations. Sitting on the patio we felt like we are in a nature park with that beatiful tropical garden around us. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed, perfect for a couple. The pool was also a huge advantage, we spent quite some time there in the late afternoons. Judith and Richard are amazing hosts, they shared a lot of useful tips with us on the very first day we arrived and they were always really kind and helpful. The location was also perfect, everything was a few minutes drive away (take-aways, grocery stores, Anse Royal beach, etc). The only thing we regret is we did not stay longer. We will definitely go back.
