Superb

A beautiful and well-equipped resort with friendly staff

We loved everything about the hotel! The staff were all incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We arrived a few hours early and were prepared to wait before we could check in but the staff had our room ready after brunch. They even gave us a ground floor room to accommodate our mom as she can't climb stairs. The food at the restaurants was delicious, and there were plenty of options at the breakfast buffet. The spa is also excellent; I had the best massage while I was there!

A minor problem, but we noticed that the drain in the shower backed up into the drain underneath the sink, which caused suds from our bubble bath to cluster around the drain underneath the sink. Our aircon also stopped working on one evening, but the staff dealt with it very efficiently.

Disappointing

We checked out earlier cause we really didn't like it.

The breakfast was perfect. Loved the variations of foods, very fresh. Super enjoyed! The location was good

The building where we stayed. We booked the beach front bad sadly they put us in a quite far with a very bad terrace view.

Superb

Bluewater Maribago is a classic beach resort with superb service.

Buffet breakfast was very good with many options. Dinner at D Cove restaurant was also goo. Room is spacious and clean. I love the beach front.

The beach- The white sand is just at the beachfront; there are so many sea urchins on the way to the sandbar across.

the selection in the breakfast buffet is good. the food itself taste fine. however, they lack on serving fruits during breakfast. i stayed with my family of 6 and got the 2 villas side by side. if you will ask me if i will stay again, i wont be considering this resort unless they renovate their bathrooms, in my honest opinion their current rates are not valued for what the rooms has to offer.

1. the room feels unclean especially the bathroom. all the toilet fixtures are with scales, rusty and seems to be dried soap over the handles. the water pressure is too low, you need 1 hr to take a decent shower. 2. there are too many frogs, around the vicinity. you will hear them in your room during your stay. 3. location wise, its not good if you want to do a tour around cebu. 4. room service is too pricey, considering the food they serve.

A convenient stop or sleep over when you have to catch a flight because we all know traffic in Cebu is nuts. If not, could not really connect to the vibe. It might be a resort and maybe some people can enjoy real holiday here...but for me it all had a bit too much of a factory feeling. Lots of seminars lots of activities and people rushing in and out. All considered. It is ok.

You should not announce shuttle service if this means just calling a black cab and paying 1000Pesos. Just day "we can arrange transport for you"
