Exceptional service. All the staff were super helpful and the location is quite central too.

The hotel itself was not up to the expectation. The pics on booking.com looked amazing but in reality the hotel and the room seemed quite old, and in need of maintenance.

Wonderful and comfortable hotel in the Old Quarter

Very nice hotel in the middle of the Old Quarter near all the sites. Good food and cafes nearby. Five minute walk from Train Street. Twenty minute walk from Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Hon Kim Lake. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Sorry to have to say goodbye. But I have a new home in Hanoi and I'll be back for sure.

1) Location of the property, 2) Behavior of the staff & 3) Last 2 tours (Halong Bay Tour & Ninh Binh Tour) out of 3 tours, I booked from hotel.

1) First tour (Jeep tour) out of 3 tours, I booked from the hotel & 2) Breakfast (the food does not encompass the sensitivities of people from different religions and community).

Could use some deep cleaning and regular maintenance check.

Richie was helpful and responded to all our questions and requests before arrival. Our flight was delayed an hour; the airport pick up and staff waited for us patiently, which we really appreciated. Breakfast selection was very good.

Our room wasn't properly ready and cleaned when we arrived at 4 am. There were garbage under the bed that was left behind by previous guests, and there was a sticky liquid on the night table from previous guests. Faucets handles could use some cleaning/ polishing. It is full of soap scum. No bath soap or body wash in shower. We had to use shampoo to wash ourselves on first night. The shower pipe is leaking. It could use some fixing We pointed out the sticky liquid and missing soap to housekeeping the next morning and were rectified. On our last day before checking out, I asked housekeeping for a bottle of water to take along with us. They said No.
