Just OK

Great location in the heart of Galle fort - close to many bars and restaurants. Very nice staff. Balcony overlooking the street was also charming.

The hotel is primarily a restaurant so there were no dedicated staff for check in. When I arrived the restaurant was very busy, so staff didnt have time to do a proper check in. I was not provided the WiFi or any instructions. Also there were no towels in the room and I had to ask several times because the restaurant staff was very busy. The room was very tiny and the shower not warm. According to booking check-out was 11.30, but at 11 the staff came to the room and insisted the check out was 11 - I showed my booking confirmation which said 11.30 but they insisted I need to leave immediately. Overall, I think the hotel has charm and potential, and the staff were nice, but was not a good value for money.

Disappointing

We would have liked our room with balcony overlooking at the Main Street of Galleria Fort, which is the reason why we booked this accommodation. But we arrived and to our surprise they didnt have our reservation from booking.com and they said the was an issue and they gave our room With balcony to another couple

We needed up in a room with no window no balcony, a shower that wasnt draining and very small in size, so apart from sitting on the bed you could not do anything else. It was a room on top of the kitchen so very noisy and smelly

A brilliant spot perfect for exploring Galle!

The rooms were beautifully presented in a perfect location to explore. The balcony was perfect for a morning cuppa overlooking the street! The whole experience offered fabulous value for money and we would highly recommend. The staff were wonderful.

Poor

The only good thing about this property is its location which is right on the famous Peddler Street.

The arrangements were not in place, they did not give enough bedsheets, the AC remote was not working. Breakfast was also underwhelming. There are a lot of places on this street which would definitely be serving their customers better than this. Would definitely not recommend this place.

Heart of Galle Fort. Everything is close by. Very unique hotel. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Balcony face the street which had great views. Downstairs of the hotel is the restaurant and appeared to serve variety of different Sri Lankan and English food. Staff very helpful and friendly

If get a chance to visit Galle again, I would definitely return to this hotel.

Location - Close to the Fort Wall and an easy walk to the Beach. Restaurant - In my opinion, this property is a good restaurant with a few Rooms for guests. Breakfast - Simple breakfast done right. On the day of checkout, when I informed them that I'd be checking out early, they offered to pack the Breakfast for us. Friendly Staff - They were very flexible to suit our requirements.

Wi Fi was available, but challenge with the speed. We liked the room, and the pictures were accurate, but for elders taking the stairs could be difficult.
