Had a very nice stay and would recommend this place!

The caretaker is really friendly and helpful! Rooms are beautiful, large, and clean. And the beds are great (large and not too hard, like most indian beds). Also, the room had good air conditioning and vans. The food is really good. We would definitely recommend this place and come back!

It's pretty noisy outside, but that's almost everywhere in Guwahati I think. Good to bring some earplugs if you need them. Though the location is very good in a nice area of Guwahati.

Well situated hotel with very helpful staff.

Hotel was very well situated with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Hari & Ravi really went out of their way to help us make the most of our stay. Good breakfasts each day. Room was comfortable. Owner very accommodating allowing us to stay whilst waiting for our night train.

Bathroom definitely in need of updating which they are hoping to do soon.

Always a good stay at Baruah Bhavan

We always enjoy staying at Baruah Bhavan. It's homely, relaxing and the staff are wonderful. On this visit, family were staying because of a recent death in the family. We were surprised to be allowed to stay at this time, and felt warmly welcomed by both family members and staff. It turned out to be a very unusual and very good stay.

The place is a small museum, more to visit than to stay at. Breakfast was very good and the staff were courteous.

It's located in a pretty noisy neighbourhood with an adjacent mosque. The room I had was in a passageway and didn't feel very private.

Location was very good.

Room amd bathroom were mot so well mai tai ed. Could be cleaner. Facilities were a little rundown. Excellent roof space with a few patio seats but could be much better used and kept. With some investment it could be an excellent space

A vintage spacious stay with very helpful caretaker.

All amenities that we needed were there and ample space for kids to play. The property caretaker Mr. Hari is very helpful and informative. He connected us with good taxi drivers and travel agents.
