I liked everything about this place. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The location is about .5 miles from Market St. Lots of restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend. Would stay here again.

Location, location, location. Great location. Staff was very friendly.

Not a complaint, but there is no elevator if you have a 2nd or 3rd floor room. Knew this going in and it was not an issue.

Location was nice as was breakfast.

I believe the property requires more renovation than the owner can or is willing to put into it. Holes in bathroom floor, uncomfortable bedroom furniture which should be replaced, non-working room phones, no room servicing (cleanings, no shampoo upon arrival), and beds requiring an elevator to get into, were some of the items we experienced there.

The one thing we did not like was no hand rails on the front steps. You need them for seniors. The high beds are or can be unsafe. My wife slipped on the stool getting into bed and scrapped her shins. We needed ice packs, cleansing and Neosporin. The WC on first floor and bathroom need to be refurbished. When we booked we asked for first floor because in our eighties we do not do or live with steps. It really was a burden with luggage and up and down during our stay. On previous stays we stayed with Mills. Room 4 at this stay.

Absolutely wonderful!

Location was perfect. The historic house was beautiful. We stayed at Christmas time and it was just like being in a Hallmark movie (which for me was fabulous!) Rooms were spotlessly clean. Free cookies, coffee, tea. The English lady who served breakfast was amazing, so friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was amazing, too! Would DEFINITELY stay here again!
