Very good

It was definitely a perfect area to stay and reasonable cost and a great intro to Reyk.

The totally "hands off" management and control of staff was perfectly acceptable. Allowed me to just go about my tourism without any bother.

I could have used another day. Maybe bars of soap instead of soap lotion?

we stayed here the 1st and last night due to location.. comfortable bed..

the location, walk-able to the famous attraction in Reykjavik.. they do have shared kitchen and free coffee & tea..

there's only 1 bathroom with toilet being shared by 3-4 rooms.. but still ok for us, only in the morning you have to wait..

Disappointing

The beds were disgusting

The location was good. Very close to the center, and only 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal, where most of the tours leave. It is also positive that they offer you to leave your luggage before or after checking in, so you can enjoy the city.

The house is dirty and messy, but the worst part was the room. It was not as showed in the pictures. We requested a double bed, they put two singles. They were uncomfortable. But the worst part were the sheets and pillows. They were disgusting. So old, and dirty. It gave me nausea. I cover the pillow with my scarf, use three towels as my blankets, and slept wearing my winter coat. Also, we shared a bathroom with other room, and the guests were so disrespectful. One night, at 2 AM they kept clapping the doors, and making so much noise that I couldn't sleep. I was happy to leave the place.

Great value for money, good location. Clear check in instructions.

Nice location, 8 min walk from the BSI and 5 mins into the centre of Reykjavk. Was able to relax in the kitchen area prior to check in. I was in one of the garden rooms. Spacious, warm, comfortable with a shared bathroom.

Location was perfect because we could go around on foot and explore the city. Room was very warm and the little hot-tub was definitely a plus :)

No private parking, parking is free in front of the guesthouse but you need to be a bit lucky to find it.

We cooked food. Unlimited coffee. Location is amazing! I will definitely come back here. Good affordable price for reykjavik.

Warm and friendly stay

The bed was comfy, and the free coffee downstairs was very welcome when coming in from the cold. The location was also convenient

The temperature was different to control in the room. Also, before we arrived, we were unsure about how to get access to the room. Clearer instructions would have been more ideal.
