Secluded place and amazing pool.

The pool is the most amazing youll ever see. Incredibly comfortable room and bathroom.

There is not much to do but perfect is all you want to do is relax and enjoy the pool.

Very limited local cuisine in the menu. The outside walkways are not wheelchair friendly

Amazing location and staff

The location by the lake is amazing, the pool is very enjoyable and the staff was very nice.

On our last night we had neighbors to our room, and even though they were not too noisy we could hear everything through the door (every conversation, as if they were here). Something to have in mind if someone is sensitive to noise.

I will only recommend India to all my friends over any other country. A real eye opener. Intend to revisit again soon.

I was so impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone was. Took full advantage of the Spa massage and games room. Food was exceptional and service was prompt and accurate.

Beautiful relaxing resort stay in lush Kumarakom

Stayed for a week - really excellent, lovely and relaxing stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful throughout (especially Joyul and Alok). Swimming pool is beautiful as are the poolside cottages we stayed in. Good aircon in the rooms. Food excellent in the restaurant with a varying menu and they provide filtered drinking water for free which we had without any problems. Hotel organised private boat tour for us which was door to door and incredibly beautiful through the backwaters. Daily boat trips round the lake included and leave from the hotel were great too. There's a little games room with table tennis, chess and carrom which was great. Spa great, we got two different massages and both were great.

We missed having proper espresso/fresh coffee which they didn't have at the time when we stayed although it is in the menu. Bathroom is open to the outside which is kind of lovely and you can shower in the sun, but does mean you get bugs and lizards in there (despite the mosquito netting). Would be good to have a menu of activities in the local area as we sort of stumbled upon them later on. No alcohol sold on site which was fine with us but worth knowing if you're used to having it available.
