I could check in the early morning, use facilities even before check in and then the same on my departure date. Very welcoming atmosphere. Room was quiet and spacious. Arjun and his familx was very helpful

Friendly host and tour guide Pampa

The room was clean and the family were friendly

We thought there would be meals offered, especially as the property is in such a remote location. We were only offered toast or biscuits for breakfast, although 2 Indian guests were offered a more traditional Indian b'fast. We did query this, but still had to pursuade the host to give us a more substantial breakfast. There were no homecooked dinner options, which was disappointing. They went out for food for me on the 1st evening, but in a homestay, I prefer homecooked food.

Fabulous place in New Hampi! Great food, Great Rooms, Great People.

This place is just WOW! The experience has literally forced to me write this review. 1) It's in new Hampi and close to all good attractions (4-5 kms radius) 2) Big and extremely clean rooms, huge bathroom and a beautiful balcony in each room with amazing flowers and Plants (Perfect for a beautiful morning) 3) Great service, anything you need is a just minutes to resolve (their room boy Khwaja is superb) 4) They provide water, soap, shampoo, towels, tv, AC, 1 double bed and 1 single bed per room, parking. 5) The best part of the stay is the fabulous food and tea/coffee service from the family that runs the place. Food/Tea/ Coffee is worth every penny. 6) You will see a beautiful morning with sunlight and wind and nature all around. Perfect heaven in Hampi. 7) They also own the mango tree restaurant that's one of the best places to eat outside. 8) Beautiful flower, plants, trees and art pieces at the property just add further to the wow factor here. We were not sure while searching for a hotel, however post the stay we wanted to extend our stay at this place. You will have the same feeling I am sure. The host Mr. Srinivas is extremely courteous and has a great sense of customer satisfaction, a must in the current competitive hospitality industry. We travelled with family and kids and everyone enjoyed! We highly recommend Arjun Homestay at Hampi.

Nothing. You may feel the approach road to the Homestay is not good but that's just like 100 meters. Once at this place, it's a whole different world and you will have a great time.

One of the best, relaxing and enjoyed travel stays for us!

We had an excellent holiday in Hampi mid December as a family trip. It was the first time we travelled to Hampi, a small town with rich history and amazing sites. The booking experience on booking.com was seamless and quick. Never had any issues and received prompt communications. I think it is the best site for all travel needs. We chose Arjun Homestay based on user reviews and overall ratings, which prooved to be correct. We stayed in a triple bed room with a large attached bathroom. I must say the facilities at Arjun Homestay are the best. Cleanliness and services are excellent. The location itself is very cool and cozy, with many well maintained green plants in the premises, offerring a relax environemnt. The long balcony specifically offers you to relax in a cool breeze after a day of site visits. We enjoyed our breakfasts and dinner at the homestay, which was delicious south and north Indian home made food served well. I would like to personally thank Mr & Mrs Srinivas for a best experience of the trip, who are very polite and helping. They also arranged our site tours with a friendly auto owner, who helped us to all the sites and best restaurants for the lunch. Hampi offers you a glimpse of the past and food for the thought. One must plan atleast one visit to Hampi! Please note that, if you are travelling to Hampi by train from Mumbai as we did, its a long and slow journey with very less in train services. I would suggest if possible to drive in a car and cover other places enroute like Badami.

Very welcoming with very nice guide Pampa

TL;DR: Stay here and ask for Pampa as a tour guide for a 10-star time in Hampi! Very welcoming! One day before our arrival, Arjun reached out to us and asked us if we needed a transfer from Hosapete train station. Although we arrived early morning with the train from Bangalore, there was no problem for family friend and tour guide Pampa to pick us up at the train station and bring us directly to the homestay. Even our room was immediately available although it was still early morning. Pampa then offered to also take us around for the day (and potentially more) to see the sights of Hampi. You will need some form of transportation because of the large distances between the sights and Pampa and his auto rickshaw are a great choice. His English is ver good and he is a very polite and knowledgable guide. He also knows which places to go to and what to do each day for whatever length you're staying. In the end we did all three days we stayed in Hampi with him and we had a very good time! The room itself was modern with a clean, big bathroom, a double and a single bed, fan, AC and a balcony. The family members and the rest of the staff are all very nice and help wherever they can. The homestay is located on a side road, which makes it very quiet and serene (at least as quiet as India can be) and it doesn't really matter that it is a bit remote as you need a vehicle to get everywhere anyways. I would highly recommend to stay here at Arjuns homestay and have Pampa as a tour guide!
