Nice hostel with nice terasse

Nice terasse restaurant

I have been verbally agressed by the owner in front of other customers after he apologized and agree to drop me the next morning at the bus station he never showed up I almost missed my bus hopefully there is karma for people not doing what they committed to do

Superb

Really decent hotel, the staff are so friendly and amazing to have free pick up from train station. It is in good walking distance from town. Contact them about booking your train ticket as they can organise for cheap so you dont get ripped off by online websites!!! They also upgraded us to a nicer room for free as it was quiet.

They were really helpful and even picked us up from the bus station. We got an in house massage which was very nice.

The bathroom had no windows so it was a bit moist

Exceptional

A lovely stay with great hosts

The staff were incredibly helpful and were able to arrange a free pick up when I arrived, as well as further excursions throughout my stay. The food was really good and the room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great location and is very peaceful.

Great property and location and great value for money.

Great location, friendly staff (who helped organise activities) delicious breakfast available (monkey watching every morning) lovely big terraces and communal areas to spend time in. Free water in reception!

The rooms were very basic and not very sound proof.

Malik (the host) was very friendly and helpful. I had to go to the hospital for a vaccination and he went with us and helped a lot when we were there. Also speaks perfect english, and always up for a joke. The room was perfectly ok for a short stay in ella.

Malik was a very good host with a very good knowledge of Sri Lanka and knew everything about everything from local gems, textiles, and politics a well. He was a very good guide and I would highly recommend him.
