We had a great time at Apa villa. Small place with only 7 rooms. Excellent food. Very hospitable staff. Walking distance to a couple of nice eateries for a change. Rooms are very spacious

Wonderful Place to Chill at Thaple Beach

A little secluded but nice, private and theres a delicated butler to offer assistance. Quaint, quiet place to chill, and relaxed. Food was good too, the fresh seafood were offered.

Swimming pool was a little murky. The beach are coral reef, not possible to swim.

Stylish boutique hotel in a wonderful location.

Excellent boutique hotel in a wonderful location. The tranquility provides for a very relaxing stay. I stayed for 2 nights in June 2023 in a room with a sea view. The beach was only a few yards away through a well kept grassy lawn planted with coconut trees. The room was air conditioned, spacious and very well and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable. The room had a fridge, safe and tea / coffee making facilities. Ample water bottles were provided. I had the Sri Lankan breakfasts, which were tasty and substantial in quantity. The one dinner I had was also tasty. The hotel also has a pool. All the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing time at Apa Villa, would love to go back.

Tranquil setting, beautiful well maintained property, large rooms, very comfortable, lovely eating on the veranda overlooking the garden, pool and ocean. We ate all meals at the property, very reasonably priced and excellent freshly prepared food. Staff very attentive, always on hand, nothing too much trouble. Thank you so much to every one at Apa for looking after us so well.

While this is an amazing beach front property, you cant really use the beach or swim in the sea there.
