Staff were generally nice and helpful

Clearly the staff being overworked, there were lots of noise and dust from the construction. The breakfast was fairly basic and bland. They attempt to charge and overcharge for everything.

Great relaxing weekend on Samed

This was our second stay at this resort, we loved it as we did the first time. The place is located on a beach that is away from the most populated area of Samed, so it doesnt get too crowded, making it perfect for relaxing. Nonetheless, its easy to get around the island by renting a bike or using tuktuk (theres a tuktuk station located just a few metres away from the entrance of the resort). Staff was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good and room size is perfect. The resort organises transfers from mainland to the hotel, so thats very convenient.

Sometimes when ordering drinks at the bar on the beach it took very long to get them (however good was coming in relatively fast), maybe staff was just a bit overwhelmed.

Room was clean and tidy. Staffs were kind. In front of beautiful and quiet beach.

When we had dinner at the restaurant, it took over an hour for our food to come. The return boat to Bang Phe pier was quite delayed (I think we were waiting for some late guests..) and we had to wait for a long time in a crowded place.

Good, but...

Very comfortable bed, friendly staff.

Breakfast was not good and not many vegetarian options. They're doing some works near by our room so basically was all day noisy outside the room.

Wonderful quiet stay in Koh Samed

The beach was quiet and lovely and the property felt safe and welcoming. The location felt authentic and all the staff were very friendly, attentive and kind. I felt like I was part of a nice community. The breakfast was very very good and the food at the hotel restaurant was incredible. Best curries and som tam I've had in Thailand hands down!!! There are some stray animals walking around the beach area (dogs and kittens) so if you don't like animals you might not like that.

It was a great, the only thing I would have liked would have been more information on tours or excursions to see other parts of the island.
