Clean and cute

Extremely clean bathroom and bedroom, super cute. Everything looked museum picturesque. The staff are very friendly.

The floorboards are quite thin so you can hear everything above/below you. If youre a light sleeper, this could be a problem.

Kind of nice but not value for money

The guesthouse keeper was super friendly and helpful, helped with organising a car & driver to Kandy. The breakfast was good, if you like Srilankan style breakfast (propably they offer something more continental as well) - but the fruit plate was absolutely wonderful (best part of my stay in this guesthouse )

The guesthouse is in five locations, thus my room rating is valid only for the one I stayed in. It was a small apartment in two floors, very dark, smelled moldy ( and the bathroom walls and corners were moldy), shower was working on off. Onlu the bedroom was airconditioned, which to me is fine and makes sense. There were no blankets, only a sheet in a bed, and in an airconditioned room that is not enough. I asked for a blanket but there were none and I was given an other sheet, and I had to turn off the a/c not to freeze. I spent two unpleasantly sticky nights there.

Lovely place.

The simplicity and the very friendly staff, Sampath. He made all the difference to our stay.

Nothing in particular. But the property photographs made it appear that it was next to the Galle Lighthouse, which is not the case.

Would recommend this place to everyone.

The room was excellent. Clean and well appointed. The decor was particularly pleasing with interesting furniture and decorations, positioned in a great location in the old area. Breakfast was in a beautiful room with a view of the light house and the water. A great fruit platter each and eggs done to our liking. Even tea made just the way we like it! Sampath was a very attentive host, friendly and helpful.

Sanpat is the BEST manager ever!!! The place is super cool and in a great position, but the real value of this magic corner is the guy!!! Totally adviced for your stay in Galle! The manager also has is own tuk tuk and he is an excellent driver & turistic guide!

Hotel centrale a Galle

Very helpful staff Sampath carried our heavy luggage on the second floor to our large room where they added the third bed.

During the night appeared an unexpected Cucaracha! :)

Super friendly staff, noisy building.

- Staff were friendly and nice - Location was great - Good breakfast

- I got the impression there is multiple properties for this guesthouse. We arrived at one above a jewellery shop which seemed to be shared with the family. Not the one advertised. - There was a loud beeping noise outside our room which wasnt turned off/couldnt be turned off? We mentioned this but received no response. - Area surrounding guesthouse was noisy.
