Disappointing experience

The swimming pool.

The location is a bit far from the beach and other activities. The shuttle only runs twice a day one way. For a 5 star hotel the level of cleanliness in the rooms is not up to standard. The shower is very outdated and dirty. The open set up wets the bathroom and the shower curtain is moldy and brown. The staff do not guide you with aspects related to your room and give an additional charge for items you are not told are to be paid for. The rooms are infested with mosquitoes. I was charged double the amount for a mosquito spray found in the room which was not told to us that its NOT complimentary. I replaced the exact type from a local shop but was rudely told I still need to pay. The resort is very noisy as people do not adhere to pool times and pools are accessible from each room. This means late at night families are swimming outside your room. For the price paid there are many other hotels that offer better services.

Decent stay, but never again

Room kept having ac issues and the room our friend stayed in had ac issues. But the worst thing about this resort is that when we arrived we didn't have shampoo nor did we have conditioner and they accused us of stealing them which was awful of them. Going to thailand my wife always brings her own hair products. I also told them they can check our bags. At that point they said nevermind. Still this made it a horrible experience upon leaving.

The staff could of checked our room and filled it with all the amenities before checking in guests.

Shower temperature very hot then cold ,toilet had to be repaired twice, breakfast very much the same every day,no help from porter unloading the car when we arrived and the air conditioning was poor.

Nice and relaxing but just a bit far out

The swim up rooms were lovely. We had a free upgrade to the green wing not sure what the difference was. The rooms were very clean, bed linen was very good quality.

The shower just had a curtain but the way the shower head was set sprayed water all over the bathroom floor. The shower would also surge with very hot water no matter what temperature you set the shower at this would be dangerous for young children and was very uncomfortable for adults. It was a case of standing to one side and getting under in between the hot surges which wasnt ideal. This appeared to be the case in most of the rooms.

Its like swimming in the canals of Venice

The best thing about this hotel was the pool access right from the terrace. It is a communal pool, so you can swim 20 minutes past pther terraces, but without feeling you are invading anyones privacy. There were a few swimmers like me who swam in the morning or evening. Plus room service i also delivered on the water - which is an amazing experience.

The food at the restaurant was not great, plus they had a singer who did not sing that well and I would have preferred some nice background music rather than loud live music whilst eating.

Wow we loved this hotel that much that we didn't want to leave ! From everything to the staff members who were just lovely ! To the swim up room , comfy bed everything was perfect . I would definitely be returning if we come back to Phuket . Thank you for your hospitality

Very welcoming and friendly staff through out hotel. Amazing breakfast with a cook to order egg station. Pool access room was very special and different. Decorated four poster bed on our arrival. Got upgraded room free on arrival. Would highly recommend access resort and villas. Beautiful gardens,pool areas with 2 swim up bars.

Food, drink and spa a little more expensive than outside. Bed very hard. Work, renovations, driling etc. going on all day in pool bar/cafe opposite our room...getting it ready for high season. 20 minute walk to beach....no footpaths.
