Very good

Loved the contemporary design of the property

Too many kids, water current is too strong to swim! The property can be made more lively with a nice lively beach bar and music by the pool for extended hours - not just quiet evenings. A retirement home kind of feel !

Superb

Had a great stay and children loved the kids club

the location is great! very relaxing hotel and good atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming, caring and friendly. The view from the breakfast restaurant is absolutely breathtaking and refreshing. The kids club is a bonus.

some mismanagement in restaurant service making it slow sometimes. Room was clean, bathroom was not clean enough for a 5-star hotel.

Superb

Beautiful resort to relax and wind down but be prepared to spend a lot on taxis if you want to visit other places.

Beautiful environment- fantastic pool area, amazing view from the breakfast room, beautiful gardens, helpful and friendly staff, excellent food.

If you dont have a car, it is difficult to get away from the resort without spending a fortune on hotel taxis. A shuttle bus to main towns and attractions would have made the stay perfect.

Exceptional

One the best resort we have ever been to! It is part of a national park of Blue bay. The beach is breathtaking, the staff very flexible / kind, and they have an amazing kids club where little ones are very well looked after and have access to awesome new toys - felt like an early christmas for her We look forward to coming back again!

It is a really amazing property, food at the bat could be potentially improved but it is minor

Lovely and well situated place with overpriced food. Go and stay there ONLY if you are ok with all inclusive type of vac

Nice location and a very interesting concept. The beach and the sea, close to the Blur Bay as well as the activities in the hotel make it comfy. Also, the hotel is very new ;)

However the stuff (even though they are nice, polite and they try their best!) seems to lack a good management and communication People are there and even though they are working hard, they are not aligned hence guests are not happy with the outcome You can see it in room service, servers and the rest of the crew. And I writing this with a broken heart because I appreciated all they have done to us. On top of it, the hotel takes an advantage of the location and the fact of no other gastronomy option beside theirs in the area. Long story short - take all inclusive. Open buffet (with waaay better food options) costs 2500 MRU (ca 50) per person. A la carte restaurant cost for 2x wines, 2x app and 2 mains will be around 100 too. So easy math :) The a la carte restaurants are overpriced and do not match the quality. Staff is just a group of headless chicken. I do not get the idea behind it, however it was what I have found. I believe with a bit of an effort and good management they can level up easily. However it did not happen during my stay.

Food was great, F&B staff was polite. Large variety of food and vegetarian options to choose from. Overall good.

Definitely not a 5 star, awful experience with the service. On arrival, took our marriage attestation for a copy but was asked to send an email for the honeymooners package. Never got a response. Got a birthday cake in the room and it was not even our birthday. Room lighting was on timer and would switch off and we had to open the doors every 20 minutes to get the lights back on. During the night, we had no AC or fan due to this issue. Made a request to the reception for maintenance to have a look, never came. Cleaning lady complained that the room is too cold. Most staff need some basic customer service training. Never again.

It didnt meet my expectations

The place is beautiful and serene. The food by was good too

Our room had electricity problems, for hours the was no power and when it came back the lights were glitching and the following day the power cut and came back every 2 minutes. I complained the first time it was not fixed I had to walk all that to reception cause the phone was not working only later it was fixed. The staff are not that welcoming and friendly only the staff at the restaurant next to the gym were lovely.

A wonderful stay at Anantara Iko with great service in a stunning setting

We stayed for a week in first in an Deluxe Ocean View Room and then upgraded to an Ocean View Suite. This Resort is nestled in a beautiful and well groomed garden landscape with white sandy beach access in the lagoon. The rooms are tastefully furnished with a great view, the housekeeping is there whenever you need. There is a variety of 4 restaurants of which we visited mostly the main Restaurant Horizon with a tasteful variety of dishes, international, creole and Indian cuisine. Also the Bar is a nice place to visit. Sunbeds are available at the beach, so is a small bar with cocktails and drinks and a small menu. The friendly Resort Manager Rosemary is always attentive and accessible for special needs. We will definitely come again as we were feeling welcome and comfortable
