Disappointing

Be careful, staff steals! Would be good stay otherwise.

Great location, cleanliness.

1. We have chosen this hotel for our business trip, and unfortunately my colleague became a victim of theft. Yes, its partly his fault: the wallet was not put in the safe box, but hotel seems high-end. It was probably the cleaning stuff, but because we have found out several hours before our departure front dest staff and manager were not helpful at all (they probably didn't want to deal with this issue at all). Not a hint of consolation was offered to brighten up the situation. 2. We have been staying at the neighbouring hotel for our previous business trips and always thought Amara would be a big step-up quality wise. But breakfast is very so-so, hotel itself is not new, I would say value for money is less than what you expect it to be. WIFI is just horrible (but that's a general problem in Mainland).

Superb

Great stay, excellent breakfast, clean rooms, highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic with the metro station just a stone's throw away, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city. The highlight for me was definitely the breakfast it was absolutely fantastic and provided a great start to my day.

Comfortable room Breakfast decent for European taste All staff was friendly and helpful

Image quality of TV channels was very poor Pool is only for a quick swim, there were no sunbeds and the water was cold Location a bit far from attractions but near metro and cheap to navigate with ridesharing app

Overall very good, will stay here again in a few weeks

Location was perfect for me-everything i needed was close including our Shanghai Office Room was excellent and comfortable Breakfast was also excellent. No troubles getting anywhere form there.
