Good location and room. Bad breakfast if you are vegan.

Room was great, stayed in 2003. Comfortable bed and amazing view for sunrise! Pool was also great. Gym nice. Top bar nice, view amazing. A bit pricier.

Wi-Fi was really bad in the room. If youre vegan breakfast is not good. Nothing is labelled with allergies/ingredients so quite hard to know. A lot of meat and egg. Great fruit though. First breakfast they very kindly made us a salad with avocado. The other days some steamed veggies. Things that could have been vegan/vegetarian had oyster sauce and egg in it so that was a shame. But if you eat animal products Im sure it was great.

Very quaint design . Love the thoughts put into designing the entire building and room.

Abit dark cos of the lighting. Difficult for elderly to see where they are going.

Second rate service

This was a return trip to the hotel after an enjoyable first visit several years ago. We had love it for its unique decor and superb service. Now I know why people say never go back!

The once funky style is muted and unoriginal and the service has seen a marked decline. Having booked this hotel 4 months in advance, the staff had ample opportunity to warn us that hotel guests are not prioritised when it comes to hotel facilities. We were barred from using both the cafe on the ground floor (due to a Fancy Party function)the restaurant on the 25th floor - due to pre-bookings throughout our stay, and were not even allowed a seat at the rooftop Paradise Bar as when we turned up at around 5pm, every table was reserved. This despite the fact that there were less than 10 customers there and the tables were empty. Instead of accommodating us by saying we could have a table for an hour (which is more than we needed), they offered us a broken couch in a corner- my partner nearly fell out of it upon attempting to sit down. Just one example of more shabby than chic. Having saved a substantial part of my income on this holiday we were made to feel unwelcome and second-class. The five staff standing around were more interested in chatting and laughing with each other than serving customers- so it would appear. One mocking someone falling by rolling down the steps - unprofessional! The limited range of breakfast was also disappointing. Limited range for vegetarians, and cold plates resulting in cold food. We had previous happy memories of the amazing range at breakfast, and staff who couldnt do enough to help. This return trip was disappointing and actually depressing- to see such a decline in service and attitude. There is no shortage of staff- so many standing around saying hello , but no one actually serving customers. Do better!

Great hotel in a great location.

We loved the quirky interior and decorations. And we loved the breakfast.

Just one issue. There was a huge music festival all weekend and the music was horrendously loud in our room until midnight each night. Not the hotels fault but its worth checking if there events happening at the three stadiums directly opposite.

Fantastic

The hotel is located 5min walk from Jim Thompson House, max. 10 min to the malls (Siam paragon/discovery/central etc) and theres a Skytrain station nearby. The hotel is very modern and clean and staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was also delicious

The only thing is that there is no Thai food/snacks at the Chimchim bistro on the ground floor. Just pizza pasta burger etc. But its not an actual complaint
