Cheap and basic place to stay with great staff and a fantastic view

Staff was very friendly! Dog was weird but cute and also friendly! Our little room was a box shack overlooking the beach and it was great to sleep listening to the waves crash. It was exactly what we needed.

Nothing reallyat first I was disappointed the room didnt have a fan but we didnt end up needing one.

The host is great, the place is directly on the beach, there are a couple of restaurants nearby. There are not many people on the beach. The room is small and only has a bed but that is what is in the picture. Great value for the price.

Stay for the price, the dog and the view. :)

Cheap. Nice view. Restaurant next door. Owner was a nice guy. The dog was quirky but friendly. Amneties were clean

Roof leaked a bit. Was in the slow season so i think he was trying to get some cash together for some well needed renovations and maintenance. Place was rundown like a lot of srilankan accommodation. Internet was dodgy. To be fair it was dodgy in that whole beach area.

What a gem! Place is right on the beach and they were building a bar whilst I was there, but theres a really good bar / restaurant right next door. Amazing value for money. I actually spent more on food and drink at the bar next door than I did on the room

Could have stayed for the entire month!

The location is insane, being able to wake up and walk ten yards to the sea is incredible. The owners are lovely and super friendly, there are restaurants next door either side too.

There isnt an atm within walking distance so make sure you have cash or are prepared to take a cab to galle if you need to get more.

I had the best time here! The owner and all the local people around this area are super friendly, heart warming and you can learn a lot from them! Loved falling asleep with the ocean sound. Such a relaxed place where you can feel the positive energy! Also I love the fact that the owner recycles and use things he found on the beach for decorating the place. Definitely worth staying here for a while, I would recommend everyone! Ah and Suda (the dog) is super cute too!
