3 class citizen. Never coming back

Location

Treated like a 3rd class citizen. Was in the most expensive room. Booked 8 months ago. And told I would be in the quiet section. Was told I was being upgraded and given a sub standard room. Moved to a lodge that was underneath a night club that finished music at 1.30 pm started at 9pm. And next to canteen extra fan. That was also really loud. And Yes 1.30pm in the afternoon. Noise so bad the whole room vibrated. No matter how drunk you were., you can't sleep through that. It was the same as being inside the club. Bang bang bang bang. Requested another and was told I had that until the 31st. Called 8.30 am on the 30th and told to check out room. And move to another. I had slept for 3 hours. Can't beat them join them. I was harassed until I moved. Phoned, door bell, personal phone, and then again room call, door bell again. Escorted out. Completely ruined my day on the 30th as I feel asleep at a club. Went home early. 31st was my birthday. This is the worst I've ever been treated by a hotel. I have done over 1000 hotels, and I am so v. angry. I could swear. So badly treated. Wouldn't stay here if it was free. 4 different rooms in 5 days. Wtf. And relax

Our room was spacious enough for 2 people and was very clean. The resort has great restaurants nearby and also the beach is a min away from the resort. The food served at the resort was also delicious specially the fish curry.

Music from nearby restaurants can be heard all through the night.

Great facilities, location, view and staff...

The staff was amazing. They knew our names and were the most hospitable people I've come across in India. Bidhan, Joe, Sushant and Prateep were like bro's. The facilities were great and the pool was clean. Whatever we needed the Alcove would provide. The food and drinks were top notch and the omlette station at breakfast is incredible. The location is close to pretty much everthing and while you can walk, the Alcove will arrange pickups and drop offs as needed.

I have zero complaints. But will provide a little advice. You may be tempted to rent a scooter. Be honest with yourself. If you've never driven one in India then don't do it here
