The New England Inn & Lodge offers a nice place to stay with log cabins and updated amenities. Some minor issues with the hot tub need fixing, but overall, it was a great stay. The location is conven (Read More)ient, with nearby restaurants, mountains, shops, and activities. The Sandy Creek cabins are beautiful and perfect for families. The spacious cabins have all amenities and offer great views. The attached Tuckerman's Restaurant is fantastic, with friendly staff and delicious food. Worth visiting for a trip.

Exceptional

Lovely cabins and lodge

We liked everything here. The location is right between North Conway and Bartlett/ Jackson. Right in the middle. Couldn't be better situated. A little Log Cabin we had was perfect. It was a great Retreat for us and we will definitely go back again. Comfortable. Had everything we wanted in the room. It was a great stay.

I think the only thing I could say that I didn't like was that the hot tub didn't deliver air through the nozzles. Usually you turn a little knob and it allows air and to give you that force, bubbles. This tub didn't do that. I even looked at it a little bit myself but it seems the problem is down on the pump more than likely. That would have made this 100% a perfect stay.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean

Beautiful and out of the hustle and bustle yet close to amenities. Cabins are exceptional, warm and updated, extremely comfortable bed! Tuckermans Restaurant was delicious and just a short walk from cabin. 2nd stay for our Anniversary.

Birthday Vacation Away

It was quiet the week we stayed hardly anyone there. Lodge was peaceful, room was nice, pool was wonderful, restaurant on site was delicious.

Not enough toilet paper left, very little paper towels were in room. The remote to use with DVD player to access Netflix was not in the room . Coffee maker was dirty inside machine. I had wished the main lodge fireplace was lit at night even just briefly , it didn't go on until my last night there seems when the crowd of people came to stay. Overall it was a wonderful stay otherwise.

The room was spacious ans there is a nice restaurant next to the lodge.

We never met anyone from the staff. Everyday there was a paper at the reception saying that it was closed (not really friendly). The facilities are a bit outdated. Consequently it is not a great value for money (too expensive for that time of the year (no skiing season).

Misleading unit

The privacy of the suite we were in was great and the unit was comfortable and homey....but saying there's a kitchenette in the unit is a little misleading!! There's a mini fridge and a coffee maker however...no silverware, no dishes, no S&P, a few small disposable plastic cups and 2 disposable coffee cups. An old bathroom sink was used for the kitchenette sink area, not stainless steel. Seemed the notion of a kitchenette in the unit was a laughable understatement. We ended up buying the things we needed to use the kitchenette as a kitchen. Paying 700.00 for 2 nights you would have thought that these minor amenities would be included.
