Adorable hotel with nice staff and location yet with room for improvement

Large room with wood and marble everywhere. Attentive staff. Location is perfect close to mausoleum and to French quarter. Soundproof balcony doors.

Multiple use rubber slippers (what?) instead of disposable slippers. Breakfast could be better.

Underwhelming

staff that was at restaurant and at reception on second day (Christine) were helpful.

staff were a bit abrupt and dismissive (specifically those that were there on first day). need to book and pay for spa services like sauna and steam room which is unlike other two hotels Ive stayed at. limited breakfast options. hotel felt a bit claustrophobic.
