Superb

We all had a great time. Highly recommended for those seeking a more secluded location in Bali.

Service from staff was exceptional. Kitchen was very accommodating to special diet. Breakfast was highlight of the day! Pools were lovely and not at all crowded. The 2-bedroom villa is perfect for family or couples travelling together.

Reflecting the real Bali experience where there is a loud noise of construction.

The only good thing about the place is their restaurant. The interior is nice. However, the bathroom was lacking on the waterways from the tub, as it just made them flooded. Water pressure is low, and the room is not noise cancelling. Best to not book this place as they have an ongoing loud construction that would ruin your stay starts since 30th.

There is so much more to be done. None of the staff are humble, they seem to be discriminating against local tourists as reflected from what I noticed, they're more engaging the foreigners more than Indonesians. Majority of the staff were also engaging local customers by speaking English, which makes us Indonesians feeling left out. The fact that they allocated me to a room where it is next to the construction, early morning till late at night giving me a bother and it is going to be a longterm as they are making a lift. The room is not soundproofing. The new year celebration was not considerate over other guests as they play loud banging music upto 1AM. They even loudly created other noises moving around stuff along the night. Even though the restaurant has great food, there were a lot of flying termites roaming above the bar station which is a huge concern for health and safety issues. Power glitches during midday, the wifi was unstable most of the time. It was not worth a penny. The brand doesn't reflect the niche and authenticity of Dijiwa. Regular power outage happens. truly nightmare .. No apology in person at all.

This magical retreat met and exceeded my expectations

I saved this jungle hideaway outside Ubud as a bucket list destination over 5 years ago. Recently rediscovered, I sought a secluded spot for relaxation and minimal remote work. I compared reviews, aiming for a central base to explore Ubud and the Gianyar regency. In November/December, I finally made it to Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud, treating myself to 13 nights. My experience exceeded expectations for hospitality, comfort, and escape from everyday life. I stayed in a Balinese-style Arkamara Suite Jungle with a panoramic view of the main pool and lush jungle. The king-size bed was comfortable, the spacious bathroom had a private shower space and bathtub, and the balcony was ideal to unwind. The housekeeping team ensured impeccable cleanliness. With the occasional need to work, a strong Wi-Fi signal was crucial, and I experienced no issues staying online. The resort staff were courteous, attentive, and the Kaukau restaurant served delicious meals covering Indonesian to International cuisine. The Kamalini spa offered a wide range of pampering packages. For island exploration, I used a pre-purchased eSIM; I highly recommend Holafly! The resort staff arranges drivers to explore hidden gems, and there's a free shuttle to Ubud. If you've read this far, trust me: a visit to Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud whether alone, as a couple, or with your family will be unforgettable!
