Good room. Skip the sales pitch.

It was a perfectly fine and reasonable room. Great proce.No problem with noise. Well located.

The staff member pushed hard to sell me a tour package and ignored pretty much everything else to hustle this day trip. He neglected to even tell me about the massive carnival going on.

Jibu is a very kind and professional person. His Abrus Holiday is a good spot, between the beach and the backwater side of Alleppey. Very good advices and helpful to organize our trip of 2 days in Alleppey (Kayaking and silent paddle boat trip and good time chilling).

Good value but should be cleaner

Jibu was a fantastic host he made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and booked our backwater trip for us and gave us good restaurant recommendations. The room was spacious and stayed surprisingly cool despite only using a fan. The location is good half way between the beach and city. Very good value for money for Allepey.

The property definitely needs more cleaning, there was a lot of dust around the windows and outside the property there is a lot of litter from previous guests. The mat outside the bathroom was full of dirt and sand so we couldnt use it.

I had a very nice stay here. Jibu is very friendly and gave me tips about where to go in the area. The room was big and comfortable with a terrace.

Spacious room well located between the beach and the city center. The host is super friendly and very very helpful. He has plenty of recommendations how to explore the area, where to eat etc etc.

10 /10 host!

Close proximity to the train station, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable but our host, Jibu, is what really made our stay so wonderful - such a kind, welcoming, friendly man and very interesting to talk to. We booked late and Jibu had an appointment but he rushed back to the guesthouse to make sure it was clean and ready for us. When we left, my boyfriend forgot some of his clothes which had been drying outside but Jibu kept them safe for us and even met us at Alleppey station a few days later to drop them off. We were even treated to a complimentary massage by Jibu, a professional masseuse. We are very grateful to Jibu for arranging a canoeing trip through the backwaters of Allepey. We were picked up by a tuk tuk, taken to the ferry port, dropped off at a little village for a delicious breakfast, and later lunch, and taken on a canoe ride through the narrow canals which the larger houseboats can't fit through. A wonderful way to catch a glimpse of local life which we wouldn't have known how to arrange without Jibu. One of the highlights of our trip so far!

A few mosquitos outside so just make sure you wear bug spray if you are sitting out in the evening. Room was bug free though

Very good

The location of property was excellent, beach is near. The owner was relay nice. He arranged us one day trip canoeing and it was excellent excursion. Also he was very helpful when I needed to go to the hospital. He took me there and waited for me, helped me with translation, so it was everything easier with him. Jibu is really nice guy, always there is you need him for anything.

Definitely a good value stay with a fab host!

Nice quiet location in a house which had everything you needed for an absolute budget stay. Host was super kind and friendly, arranging an enjoyable canoe ride in the backwaters for very good value. He told us the prices we should expect to pay, and we even cancelled a shakira ride where we were paying over the odds for what we should have been. Recommend highly.

The mattress was a little hard for me (but thats just my preference) and the aircon was perhaps not massively effective, although there was a fan and aircon.
