Relaxing and peaceful stay

Quiet center in the nature with lots of free activities and super staff to help you arrange any activity, transport, etc. Food is amazing (with huge breakfast included).

All was great. Just one reco: for the walk in tea plantation do not limit to the 2h way they will give you (lots of car just coming here for 2 pics and leave, not so pretty). It is much more interesting after the waterfall, thats where you see the widest plantations, village etc while being away from main traffic.

Very good

Very peaceful and beautiful place, A definite choice for Ayurvedic long stay treatments.

The staff, location and food was excellent.

Even though I stayed at the place I couldnt get a booking for any Ayurvedic treatments. The place also specified no children under 10 is allowed to stay but I saw a family with several children under 10 who were very noisy and inconsiderate to others.

Calm, beautiful mountain retreat with great vegetation food, run by lovely people.

We stayed in a beautiful treehouse which was surrounded by trees and nature, and the staff were all lovely, very attentive, excellent service. Vegetarian Indian food was delicious, especially breakfast. We all had aruvedic facials and massages which were lovely, all natural products. We did yoga and tried the meditation. We also went on the 5 hour trek which the hotel arrange for extra cost with a great guide, which I recommend.

The only way they could have made it even better is by having a small swimming pool.

Amazing venue .

A beautiful property set on the hillside with cardamom plantations. Very friendly staff, excellent view and pleasant ambience make this a unique option for a getaway. Though it might not be for everyone, A few things to keep in mind: 1. This is an ayurvedic retreat so No drinking or smoking is allowed on the premises. 2. The access to the retreat requires them to send a jeep to collect you from the main road as it's a very very steep narrow drive to the retreat for the last 700m. 3. Only vegetarian food options are available and that too in a very limited menu. 4. This is not a party place so that is something to be kept in mind. If you're looking for a quite peaceful location to spend some time away from the daily headaches this is the place to go to.

Food options could be better and the information of the booking page should be comprehensive especially if the booking is non refundable. It worked out for us but it won't for everyone.

Pleasant stay but will be quickly forgotten.

The Dinning and Admin Staff were good and service oriented. The Ayurveda Clinic staff while sincere could perhaps do with more training and mannerisms of how they go about the treatments.

Internet coverage was bare minimum in the room and not adequate. Onsite activities and programs at the retreat was limited. The concept of the Sitaram Mountain Retreat as a wellness getaway retreat , while ideal, falls short in execution. It would need to scale up vastly to entice visitors to come back a 2nd time. Despite this it appeared to be one of the better managed & up-kept properties.

Loved the food, the friendly staff, and the activities available. The morning yoga and evening meditations were beautiful. The staff were also very helpful at booking an airport transfer.
