Sun Siyam Iru Fushi

Cleanliness was up to standard inside and out. The Beach Villas with your private pool have been perfect to relax and to enjoy some privacy & rest.You enter your own garden through a gate into your home. There is a huge working desk, a closet with everything you could need inside. the bathroom which is completely outdoors. The toilet, one of the showers, the bath tub and sinks are under a roof in case of rain or strong sunshine. But there is a second outdoor shower which is completely open. It has been the best way to take a shower in the morning right after waking up. Beach Villa has access to the ocean which is perfect to go snorkeling.

Absolutely fabulous resort! We were there to celebrate my 40th birthday and the staff truly went above and beyond to make it feel really special. They made a gluten free and dairy free cake just for me, had chocolates and champagne delivered, and also had our villa decorated with balloons on the night while we were gone for dinner. The attention to detail at this place is incredible, a lot of staff would wish me happy birthday even though I never interacted with them before, somehow they knew. Every restaurant knew about my dietary needs, and would let me know if something had gluten or dairy in it. Our buttler Fayaz was absolutely amazing, very kind, attentive, and helpful. All the other staff were super friendly too, especially Vishal in the water's edge bar. The overwater villa was spectacular, and all the food at the resort is incredible! Breakfast and lunch buffet are simply unreal, with so much choice, and great healthy food selection. Would go back to Sun Siyam in a heartbeat!

Staff is truly amazing; they always smiled and were happy to assist with whatever inquiry we may have had. Their kindness and willingness to help always seemed genuine. Food is amazing, especially Taste of India - if you like Indian cuisine, this restaurant will blow your mind. Buffet Breakfast offered a wide selection of choices, we always found something we fancied. Special thanks to Shahu, our personal concierge, Tayyaba, Harendra and Chef Vivek from Taste of India, Naresh from Bamboo, Reyya from our local island excursion and Mr. Naufal, the Guest Services Manager for his kindess and generosity with the seaplane lounge. We had a truly wonderful experience and cannot wait to visit Sun Siyam Iru Fushi again.

Many of the fruits we tried lacked in taste (they weren't ripe enough). On the western side of the island (specifically in front of rooms 501-505) there are sandbags laid out to protect the beachfront, however, it is not so aesthetically pleasing, and would have expected a better solution/display overall. Not a deal breaker, but something to note to avoid any surprises. The open air toilets and bathroom concept, while might seem cool, is an actual pain, as it is really humid and hot outside, and going to the bathroom isn't that great... it's not the resorts fault, but something I'm sure many people don't consider in advance.

It was the most incredible holiday for us! Starting from the airport, we were met and escorted to the sea plane, flew about 40 minutes to the island. Upon arrival, we were met by our butler Fayaz (thank you very much for the hospitality and for organizational moments, for your responsiveness), took us to the villa. Our Horizont water villa, we felt at home, cleaned twice a day, incredible ocean view, the ability to swim directly from the terrace! we saw dolphins, fish, rays, turtles without leaving the villa! We only had breakfast included, the variety of food is impressive! Everything is very tasty and incredibly fresh products. Very responsive and friendly staff! Our favorite breakfast ending was a smoothie!!! Enajet, thank you very much! You made us addicted to your smoothie ;). I also want to say that in all restaurants they cook very tasty food. But the most favorite restaurant was Islanders, an incredibly romantic place, all the dishes that we tried were delicious. The staff impressed us with a special attitude and attention, so we returned again and again! Thanks to manager Gayan for special care and delicious cocktails, captain Mayulaan for attention and also to the whole team. You made our last day just incredible and magical! Also Iru Fishu became the place where I got my diving license! Divers guys, you are awesome! Nisha, my trainer, became a guide to the underwater world. Scuba diving has become a tradition almost every morning. I want to say thank you to all the staff of Iru Fushi for your care and hospitality, you really made our home during our vacation time in your resort.

What an amazing place! We have just got back from 6 nights and were blown away by this incredible resort. It is such a family friendly resort with plenty to do for kids and adults. Our children loved snorkeling to Nemo park, Kayaking, the main pool, hydrotherapy experience at the spa and the fabulous kids club! We loved the spa, cocktails at the adults pool and how easy everything was at the resort. The food was exceptional, we did not have a bad meal - the Indian had to be my personal favorite. Delicious! We were on the all inclusive deal and there was an extremely wide selection of wines, cocktails, ice teas, smoothies etc etc. The service was also fantastic everywhere we went - shout out to Hazeem for making sure we had the best week and Naresh and Vishal for their amazing attention to detail when eating in Iru and Bamboo!
