Good Stay. Close to the Beach with variety of restaurants around.

When we arrived the check-in was late but the front desk made it up for it. Eloisa was kind and helpful to understand and gave us the best room with a pool view. The cleaning staff from the house keeping were kind enough to keep the rooms clean on daily basis. Bob the concierge / bell desk man is the most amazing guy always on his toes and extremely helpful. God bless you Bob. Over all had a good stay the location is very close to the beach. Good eating joints, coffee shop and the warm welcome cookies will make you smile the efforts hotel team takes to make your stay comfortable. The beach service they have is good. Worth it. The pool table and swimming pool (temperature control) is a bonus and upto date always. Thank you team Gates.

Nothing as much to be precise. I think they should supply two bottles of water everyday instead of just once during the check in.

For the price paid it did not match the quality excepted, staff were fine and the location is good.

The room was comfortable with everything you would expect , staff were fine and the gym is good. The hotel give you beach access which is excellent .

Breakfast was appalling, and hotel is generally gloomy

Beautiful, clean resort in Mid/South Beach with a heated pool, jacuzzi, and daily entertainment

Beautiful, clean resort in Mid/South Beach with a VERY nice heated pool, jacuzzi, and daily entertainment -- even a free sip & paint night on Fridays. And of course, the famous DoubleTree cookies! The Hilton app allowed me to easily message hotel staff to ask for housekeeping and get questions answered. Rooms were comfortable and ours was extra accessible with a beautiful view of the MIA skyline. We also appreciated the microwave room downstairs, along with the in-room mini-fridge and iron. Beach was only 1 block away, and much of South Beach was walkable from the hotel. Aside from our check-in, we had a fun and comfortable stay here, and we'd definitely return!

Check-in was a bit rough as we messaged the hotel early for luggage assistance upon arrival, and were told it would be ready; however, we still had to ask multiple times and wait at the curb after our Uber dropped us off with considerable baggage after a rental car mishap. (There were also no luggage carts for self-service, otherwise, we would've done this!). We also got some inconsistent info on what the resort fee included, but the paper we got upon check-in helped!

The location

I called to get food delivered to my room and the lady was playing with me saying the room number wrong a couple of times and then she just hanged up on me and I called back no one answered. I called you guys but there was no solution as to why I never received my deposit I never got it back into the original form of payment and only thing your employee said was call my bank, I have been in many hotels and never had to call a bank as to why I never got my deposit back. Bathroom door in my room was complete broken I thought it would fall on me. I called to get water delivered to my room, never got the water. Got there at 4:30 and guess what, my room was still not ready just ridiculous that shouldve been the first red flag and reason to leave

It was in a nice location and very clean.

I liked how close I was to the beach! The hotel representatives were very nice. The facility was clean. The pool looked great, but the weather didn't allow me to access.

I did NOT like that you had to pay for bottle water. They only give you 2 waters when you check in and if you want more you have to pay $4 a bottle. I also was not a huge fan that when you order room service it was really pricey. I ordered an 18$ meal and they automatically put a tip on there and you don't see that under after you tip additionally, so I paid $30 bucks for 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 1/2 a cup of potatoes, and 2 pieces of toast. I think it tasted good, but if they want to charge that the portions should probably be bigger.

Decent stay for the prize for 3 nights with kids

Location, cleanliness, and friendly staff!

Bathroom is little worn out, has walk in shower but no stand or mount to keep your own shampoo or shower gel. The telephone in the room didnt work that made it challenging to ask for towels or needed items, but later realized (after check out) you can get in touch with the front desk and room service through text message. The standard room with queen beds doesnt have any view and no sunlight through windows as it faces the artificial plant wall.
